Tyre reviews Viatti Bosco A/T. Page 5 3173

Took more because of the price, because I didn't want to buy a Chinese cat in a bag. What to say about the tires: let's go point by point - when driving in winter conditions, summer tires or as written A/T behave like normal summer tires, immediately become stiff and lose manageability. When braking sharply, the car moves by inertia and the tire squeals and leaves black marks on the asphalt, although the car weighs 2500 kg, after all. Wear resistance leaves much to be desired, tears off pieces of rubber when driving off-road. After 110 km/h, it's better not to enter puddles, control is immediately lost. When driving, I don't feel the comfort like on Hankook or Dunlop. Since it's made in Russia, the quality even surprised me, compared to today's China. Directional stability depends on the correct wheel convergence angle. Compared to Dunlop, it's noisy, about like winter tires. Holds speed well, holds 180 km/h confidently. Requires constant balancing.

I don't recommend, the steering wheel started shaking at 80 km/h and the rear tire is like an eight. Up to 30 km/h it's like driving on bumps, then the vibration gets less and less. It's like three are more or less okay, but one is defective.

The tires performed very poorly. The imbalance is strong. Although the inspection showed that the imbalance is within the normal range. The tires themselves, in terms of rubber quality, also did not like it. In terms of handling and braking efficiency, I won't say anything negative.

Under my operating conditions, a set of these tires lasts for 3 full summer seasons, with a total of 60,000 km per set. I'm already on my 3rd set of Viatti Bosco A/T))) The Kumho tires were originally installed in the salon, so I can only compare them with those on this car. The Viatti tires have very decent passability, they grip well on wet snow and clay for A/T tires. In terms of comfort, they are average, a bit stiff and not the quietest, but quite satisfactory. In terms of braking, acceleration, and handling on any surface, I have no complaints, everything is excellent. They don't become rigid in light frost, and I've had a few instances where I drove on them during the first snowfall on the highway - where the main traffic was crawling at 40 km/h in the right lane on summer tires, I was driving calmly and confidently at 80 km/h in the left lane on a snow-covered road) They are more difficult to balance than average, and I usually have to hang a cluster of weights) In terms of the price-to-quality ratio, I'm completely satisfied.

What a day! For the track it's perfect, but the forest wears it down heavily. On the driving wheels, it's worn out about 20% more than on the non-driving ones.

In its price segment, there is no equal. At the same time, 6 cars are used. On different tires. Michelin, BF Goodrich, Hankook, Kormoran, Goodyear. Viatti is not the worst. It's a bit hard and noisy, but it grips well in all conditions. Even the first snow and frost do not force it to immediate re-shoeing. For several days, I moved confidently around the city (without fanaticism)

A good and not expensive tire. Bought on the advice of an acquaintance. In the city, there are no problems, the grip is excellent, the water is normally drained. On dirt and not strong off-road, it rides quite cheerfully. The sidewalls are strong. I recommend.

Cheap and nasty. The tire has a lot of downsides, and the price is twice as much. So I drove on dry asphalt and was satisfied, in the mud it was bad, but on water it hardly splashes... But don't try it though.

Since 2002 I have been driving on a "nip" Nokian, but it's no longer affordable now. I bought a budget option Viatti with steel rims for the summer. I managed to drive both on the snow and on impassable mud (I had to remove all the wheels and clean the suspension afterwards) until it gave way. In my opinion, it's the best option for pensioners.
