I bought 215/85 R16 tires for my work UAZ. The UAZ lives in a rocky area, and now I'm seriously worried about the following: with a nominal tire width of 215 mm, the tread width is only 155 mm! And on the sides, there are large "bulges" hanging. Judging by the marks on the sidewall, the tire constantly comes into contact with the terrain not only with the tread, but also with the sidewall, which is very disturbing. I haven't encountered this before, I had Nokian and Matador tires, where the tread width was almost the same as the nominal width. Now, when I look closely at the photos of the TR292, it seems that the shape of the tire could have been expected. Also, at a pressure of 2.4 atm, the tread of the tire becomes noticeably rounded, it looks like an inflated ball. I'm ready to assume that such a tread width can have a positive effect on fuel efficiency, handling, and noise reduction. However, I wouldn't recommend these tires for rocky terrain or areas where the tread can slip off something like a log or a root. We'll have to rely on the quality of the rubber and its thickness.

The tire is definitely worth its money, soft, not noisy, on gravel and dirt roads, even in mud, it goes confidently, in the city and on the highway, there are no problems with it either.

Bought a new set. Out of 4 tires, one turned out to be defective. At speed on the Moscow-Petersburg highway, the car was shaking, stopped, and re-balanced. It didn't help.
