Good day, Triangle Ice Link TI501 studded, there are very few reviews about it, I found it on Mosavtoshina, but I bought it in another place (it was just cheaper). My first experience with Chinese studs! But I'm familiar with Triangle (257 and 301 models), so I didn't have any particular doubts! The model is new and it's studded, so I was amazed by the product of this brand once again. I drove over two thousand kilometers this winter, and I can say that after the break-in period (500-700 km on autumn asphalt), there is almost no noise from it, although the tread pattern is a directional "Christmas tree"! (After switching to summer Pirelli, it seemed quieter to me). About Chinese tires getting hard in the cold - it's not about Triangle Ice Link 501 (it's like plasticine), even with a 50-profile! Another surprise! It handles great, turns where you want it to, and I didn't notice any understeer in the turns! On a country road, in a snowstorm, another surprise! Two lanes, people are driving very slowly, the left lane is empty! Snow is falling heavily and it's already quite a lot! We merge onto the passing lane and another surprise! It's like driving on rails, no nerves at all, everything is very stable, it really surprised me!!! You can confidently drive faster than the flow of traffic on it! The only drawback is its tendency to follow road grooves! But it's not critical, it doesn't throw you off, it's more like a soft and gentle pull! Not a single stud came off during the season, and I didn't notice any wear on the tire itself. I liked it!

Many people here write that the tires are very noisy, I completely disagree with them. The tires are very quiet, at first I didn't even realize that they were studded.

Driving sideways, drifting, or doing donuts - this tire is not for that, and Vin Diesel wouldn't approve of it!:))) I've been familiar with the Triangle brand for a long time, and this is my second purchase of Chinese tires (I also had Chinese summer tires). Previously, I used to buy tires from other manufacturers, but their prices became unrealistically high, so I decided to go with the Triangle TI501 IceLynX 215/50 R17 95T XL studded tires because they were very cheap for their size (215-50-17), with a lot of studs on each tire (2-3 times cheaper than other branded tires). I've never regretted this purchase - the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. I've just finished my first winter season (2022-2023) with these tires, and they've performed flawlessly in Moscow and the surrounding area. We've had snow up to our knees, but I've always driven confidently, and I've even helped my neighbors get out of snowed-in driveways. The tires handle slush and rain without any issues, and they've shown excellent performance on icy roads, with good traction and braking (without being reckless, of course!). I highly recommend these tires! As they say, you need to be reasonable and attentive on the road, regardless of what tires you have - everything has its limits, and you can still get into trouble with any studded tires in winter... Be careful on the roads, respect yourself and others, and I wish you all smooth roads and safety - take care of yourself and those around you on the road!!!

This year's winter in Moscow was snowy, so I decided to get rid of the friction tires, I was tired of constantly rummaging in the snow and skidding on ice, I took these tires because of the large number of spikes, visually inspected the tread and quality, sturdy sidewall, quite heavy compared to Dunlop friction tires, tire mounting without problems 20/40 grams of weights, after running-in, I started testing them fully, the advantages are, of course, how they grip in the slush, I was really surprised, they also perform confidently on ice. I don't know who writes about high noise levels, but for me, they are quite normal. I definitely recommend them.

Many people say China is trash, but I'm telling you that now everything is trash, but China is turning this trash into gold in terms of price and quality. Did I take a risk by getting these tires!? Yes, I did, and I don't regret it! I drove in temperatures up to +5°C and 500-600 km until the snow started, and I was pleasantly surprised.
My rating is based on my tire size 235/45 R18
Firstly: they are very quiet on all surfaces, despite having a lot of studs
Secondly: the grip is excellent on both dry asphalt and ice. In snowy slush, it's clear that all brands aren't perfect, but I can say that these tires handle it well and I've never gotten stuck.
Thirdly: I haven't noticed any problems with directional stability and tracking (2000 km on the highway)
Fourthly: the braking is always predictable, working together with the safety systems.
And also: choose the tread pattern based on the region you drive in, THIS IS NOT UNIMPORTANT!

Hello! This is my first studded tire for the entire driving experience (since 2008), before that I only had "all-season" and non-studded tires. It so happened that for the last few years I drove on Yokohama G015. The first impression of this tire is that it drives great in deep snow (reasonably deep, about 2/3 of the tire diameter). It pulls really well, compared to G015, which started to slip very quickly. This tire has excellent handling, I didn't notice any instability. I drove about 2300 km this winter. At first, I ran it in for about 500 km, without sharp starts and braking. Over the winter, it showed itself to be excellent, driving smoothly on winter packed snow roads (I had a very unpleasant incident with Yokohama in the same conditions), on ice (Yokohama is much worse in this regard). With this tire, I completely forgot what wheel spin is. It also behaves wonderfully in our traditional winter urban mixture of snow and chemicals. There were a couple of moments towards the end of winter when I had to brake sharply - both on asphalt and on asphalt covered with a similar mixture - the car stopped like it was nailed to the spot! When I bought it, I thought there would be some drawbacks, but there aren't any :) (Yokohama used to howl almost louder on the highway). Pleasant clicking of the studs on the asphalt :) Now I've replaced it with my old summer tire, ordered a Triangl for the summer, waiting for it to arrive and will be changing it. After the replacement, I inspected all 4 tires - not a single stud came out, no signs of wear (although for the last month and a half and at the beginning of winter I had to drive a lot on asphalt). In general, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality characteristics of this Chinese tire! Well, and in general, now only studded tires for winter :)

In the first days when switching from summer tires, when there was no ice and snow yet, the car became less manageable because there were many studs and they were not helpful on asphalt. But when real winter conditions set in, the tires showed themselves from the best side! They pulled me out of such snow that I couldn't even dream of with my previous tires. They are not noisy, they handle the road well, and they start moving on ice quite well (of course, if the driver uses their head). I work as a taxi driver, so the mileage is corresponding, and I have to visit all areas, there were opportunities to test them. I will definitely buy them again if I have the opportunity.

Normal tires for their money. I've driven about 7000 km on them, since October 2021, everything is fine, they are just a bit noisy and don't handle very well on dry roads

I installed them after Bridgestone. I didn't expect much, but the reality exceeded my expectations. I'm pleased with the tires. They handle snow well, and they also handle rutted roads. I have no complaints about their performance on ice, but I didn't push my luck, as you can get hurt if you're not careful. The price-to-quality ratio is high. I recommend them!
