    Hello everyone!

    I wanted to share my impressions and observations of using the Triangle TI501 IceLynX winter studded tires, on a Tank 300 vehicle, size 265/65 R17. I bought them at the beginning of December and drove from St. Petersburg to Murmansk with a trailer. During the trip there and back, plus driving around the Murmansk region, I covered over 3,000 kilometers. The weather conditions were varied: dry asphalt, wet asphalt, snowy slush, snowfalls, and cleared roads, open ice, wet snow, and frosts down to -15. I was very, very pleased with the tire's performance! It behaves predictably and confidently. There was no aquaplaning on puddles. Uphills and downhills in mountainous terrain in the snow did not cause any problems, even at speeds of 100-120 km/h. In Kirovsk, with a loaded trailer, I easily drove up steep icy inclines without wheelspin (while most cars couldn't overcome this climb on the first try and made several attempts, and some had to turn around and leave) and also easily descended without slipping, with the same loaded trailer.

    Another important thing for me is comfort. There is no noise from the studs (but here it all depends on the quality of the sound insulation of the specific car) and on long trips, the increased noise and hum from the studs do not cause fatigue. This is a huge plus.

    In short, I'm thrilled!

    I can't say anything about durability. Time will tell. After 3,500 km, all the studs are still in place.

    I can confidently recommend these tires.

    I've driven 5,000 km on these tires, and throughout the entire period, I've had one delightful experience. Although I had concerns about the Chinese product, I'm pleasantly surprised, and my stereotypes about Chinese products are fading away. The studs are all in place, even though I had to start on asphalt with wheel spin and, I must admit, used the handbrake as well. The behavior on water is also a plus - we drove home to the Penza region from Moscow. Most people were driving in the right lane due to caution, but when I chose the tires, I came across a review that said you can safely maintain a speed 15-20 km/h higher than the flow of traffic, and that person was right. The car didn't skid or aquaplane even once. There are more than enough studs, you can even say there are a lot of them. On snow and ice, it performs great, and with a full load of 5 people and a full trunk, it easily climbed a small hill in the slush. On asphalt, of course, you can feel the large number of studs in terms of noise, but I wouldn't say it's too noisy, just not so noisy that it constantly distracts you. I definitely recommend buying these tires at this price - I think you won't find anything better. I have a negative attitude towards used tires, since new is new, but that's a matter of personal preference. Would I buy these tires again? Yes, in two seasons, but that's my policy.

    I ran in the tires for about 7000 km, didn't drive over 110-130 km/h, then I got to the highway and decided to try them at maximum speed, drove 190-200 km/h, but it didn't go any further? And this wasn't a one-time thing, it happened 5-7 times on 5 km stretches. The car handles great after such speeds, and the next day I specifically checked if all the studs were in place, and they all were, not a single one came out. On ice, it grips everywhere, there are a lot of studs, and on snow, it also handles great. Maybe on wet asphalt, the braking distance will increase, since there are many studs in the tire, but that's how any studded tire will behave. And this Chinese tire is the first one I've bought, previously I was wary of Chinese winter studded tires, but here I didn't make a mistake. In short, the tires are 5+ on icy roads, they grip the ice like a crocodile's teeth. The car has ESP. This set is my 8th or 9th set of winter tires, and previously I also had studded tires of foreign production. I can say one thing, there's nothing that the new tires lack, they'll easily last 40,000 km. I drive 100,000 km per year.

    Due to the crazy prices in 2024, the choice fell on Chinese tires. Of all the Chinese tires, there are many reviews about Triangl, especially about summer ones. I decided to take a risk and for 32,000 rubles, tires of size 225/65 R17 suited me. As the manufacturer writes, there are many studs, more than all other manufacturers. I wouldn't say that they are very noisy. After 3,000 km of mileage, all the studs are in place, which is surprising. Because some studs were standing crooked, as if they weren't fully installed in place. When running my hand over the surface, it was directly felt that some studs were protruding from the rubber, and some were barely, is that how it should be? The only minus is the tread, in slush it's like it's soaping, the grooves in the snow and nothing are scraping. I paid attention to the tracks, other tires have clear tracks, the tread of the tires is clearly left on the snow, as if self-cleaning, and Triangl only on the edges, the center is always clogged with snow. When I was on Nokian 7, I could easily and confidently turn off the road, but here I don't have such confidence. Maybe it just seems that way to me.

    I purchased with delivery, everything was quick and within the promised timeframe! (to the Irkutsk region)
    Now, a review of the tires: 215/55 R17 98T XL
    I ran them in carefully (I don't know if it actually works, but I drove 300 kilometers extremely carefully!) Then, I gradually started driving on the highway at no more than 80 km/h. EVERYTHING IS OK
    When real winter arrived
    My feelings were unclear
    Traction is always good (on ice, on snow, on snowdrifts 40-50 cm high, this is probably due to the all-wheel drive)
    Lateral skidding is present, and when turning, the front sometimes loses traction (I drive on uncleared roads and sometimes slip out of the lane), but that's probably a complaint about the roads
    The braking distance is predictable (with ABS, it's even good)
    In short, I didn't expect miracles, normal tires for normal money (28,240₽ for a set)

    I didn't expect so many advantages from these tires, every day on the road, it reliably keeps the car on the road, there are a lot of studs, on dry asphalt the braking distance is slightly longer than on compact snow. Almost two months of driving on clean asphalt - the studs are still in place.

    I've driven a season on these tires, the first 500km was a bit noisy until they were properly run-in, you could hear the studs clattering, and for the first kilometers, you need to drive carefully, just like with any new tires. After the run-in period, the tires showed themselves to be excellent, on both dry and wet asphalt, the studs are practically inaudible, the car handles like it's on slicks, possibly due to the small size of the studs and the fact that they don't protrude much, and there are a lot of them, I didn't lose a single one over the season. I operated them in temperatures ranging from +15 to -30. On loose snow, they grip well, but you can feel that the tread is more suited for highway driving, previously I had tires from a well-known brand with a more aggressive tread and larger lugs, they handled snow more confidently, but they were noisy on asphalt and handled terribly, especially in turns. On ice, I have no complaints, but due to the somewhat outdated stud design, you shouldn't expect miracles, ice ruts need to be approached with caution, as the car can slide.

    If I were to summarize, they're worth every penny, 100%, for a set of 18 wheels, 225 60, I paid 34 thousand. The main advantage is their universality, they're more suitable for regions where the main roads are cleared, it's enough to get out of an uncleared yard, and on a cleared road, you'll get acoustic comfort and handling, but on loose snow and slush, you might want to consider a different tread pattern.

    I bought these tires for my West Vesta Cross. After using Pirelli Formula, the difference is noticeable. This is not my first time purchasing Triangle tires. They are very good tires for their cost.

    Good day! I bought this tire in a pontoon case, when I went to another city on my old tire, and realized that I needed to change it urgently so that the road home was safe. The choice fell on this tire, generally by chance, something, somewhere, sometime I heard. I think the reviews are good, although there are few, I'll take a risk. Two seasons I've been driving on it, racing on highways and in the city like a madman, I don't regret this choice at all. It cost me (r16) around 20,000₽ (2022) which is approximately two times less than in Europe. Now the third season is underway, there are places where the studs have come out (but I drive like many consider crazy, in a hurry to the other world). Now, at the moment, I'm changing my car, but I'm not changing the tires, the best quality for such money.

    For those who are in doubt whether to take them, I will answer directly - IT'S WORTH IT!!! The tires are top-notch!!!! Previously, I had experience with Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8, and I can say that the Chinese do not concede in any way, they grip very well on ice, and on soft snow, they hold as if you're on asphalt, there's virtually no noise, only the sound of the studs, and no aquaplaning. In general, 5 out of 5, I didn't lose a single stud all winter, and that's on rear-wheel drive!!! The car handles very well in turns !!!
