The Triangle TI501 IceLynX winter tire was developed with the climatic conditions of countries located north of the Arctic Circle in mind. The model is distinguished by improved traction on snow and ice, as well as handling precision unusual for tires in this category.

The tread pattern, although made in a typical directional symmetric design for winter tires, has a number of features. One of them is the small protrusions at the corners of the blocks. They limit the mobility of the elements, which increases the stability of the traction properties, improves directional stability, and handling precision. The tread is dotted with studs and lamellas. These elements provide the tire with excellent efficiency on packed snow and ice.
