On a four-wheel drive, in snow, I only skid if I'm on a bridge. Normal tire at an adequate price, studs remain in place throughout the season, in the snow I can drive further than with the same type of car but only with Yokohama IG studs. I don't accelerate above 140 even in summer with a summer tire.
