Tyre reviews Nordman 4 448

I used the Nordman 4 for two consecutive seasons (from early November to the end of March). A decent tread that becomes noticeably worse below -18...-20 degrees C - the rubber becomes too stiff.
Good grip on snow thanks to the tread.
Over 2 seasons, a third of the studs on the driven wheels fell off, the rest were worn out while driving.
On clean asphalt (dry or wet) a weak grip - skids on studs,- Vehicle:

The second season is already here and I've blown all eight studs across all four wheels, probably because I drive carefully. Of course, it makes a lot of noise, but it does dig into the snow, and I know what I'm talking about because I live in Yamal. In general, a great tire for the price!

This year I changed my car and immediately faced a question of what winter tires to buy. I drive a lot and often, and in any weather, so non-studded tires were immediately ruled out; it’s impossible to postpone a trip and wait for someone to clear the road for you. "Slowing down" is also not my thing - don’t create problems for others on the road and they won’t create any for you. Therefore - only studs. I chose Nordman

Renault Laguna 3 diesel. Bought a Nordman 4 R 16 winter set. Drove for 3 winter periods (20000km). The tread is like new, the studs are in place. There is no typical noise of winter tyres. There is a moderate noise from the studs. I sometimes drive to the village. On mud, it doesn't match its peers. It digs with an awful strength. On a highway, the tyre is soft. I didn't drive over

Winter tire package 2014-2015. Write the review in 2020. I compare with winter tires that I've tried in the meantime (Dunlop DSX, Bridgestone Blizzak Revo GZ, Dunlop Ice Touch, Nokian Hakkapeliitta 4, 7, 8, Michelin X-Ice North 4). I live in Ufa, our winters are very snowy and temperature is around -10 degrees mainly.

I bought these tires for my VW B3 Universal in November 2013 and installed them immediately. I bought them based on the reviews on the website. Prior to this, I was using the Metelitsa K-202 from 2008-2010, which was incredibly heavy, but good for off-road conditions in the countryside. After that, I used the Hankook 419 from 2010-2012, but for some reason, I would start to skid on a

I bought these tires in November 2011 for 9,000 rubles, R13 175/70. The winter turned out to be snowy (I live in Lipetsk), so I had to test them several times. What I can say about these tires - they hold the road perfectly, even though my car has a rear-wheel drive; On ice they behave normally, but you should not take unnecessary risks; On snow I rode on drifts all winter and never got stuck; On

An excellent localized analog of the well-known and proven Hakka 4. Drove on a Hakka 4 in the past, noticed no difference with the Nordmann.

Excellent grip on ice and snow. Braking on snow and ice is no problem at all. However, driving on dry asphalt is a bit tricky, as the grip is not that great. Feels like riding on ice skates. Very noisy, in general you get used to it, but sometimes your ears get tired when driving on dry asphalt. Durable.

Budget tyre with tread pattern from more expensive Hakkapeliitta.
The tyre itself is quite worn down, the tread remains, but the studs are a problem.
Already after the first season, about 25% is lost.
After the second season, the losses increased, but not so significantly.
After the third season, I think the aluminum base of the stud is broken down and the steel cores are ejected, leaving a fairly deep live tread- Vehicle:
