I used the Nordman 4 for two consecutive seasons (from early November to the end of March). A decent tread that becomes noticeably worse below -18...-20 degrees C - the rubber becomes too stiff.

Excellent grip on ice and snow. Braking on snow and ice is no problem at all. However, driving on dry asphalt is a bit tricky, as the grip is not that great. Feels like riding on ice skates.
