It's only been two months of winter, so it's hard to write an objective review, having driven just over 4,000 km on this tire. What I definitely liked was the handling on thick snow-ice during the recent Moscow snowfalls with thaws and frosts. The tire is not noisy (compared to others), well, of course, it's the studs when you're driving, but it doesn't press on your ears either. I drive carefully, I don't accelerate on dry asphalt, so I can say little about wear resistance - all the studs are in place. I think this is just good tire, overall; and how much better it is than others - I don't know, I've never bought very cheap ones.

Excellent tires. They do not become brittle in the frost. We have frosts down to -60! The tires retain their elasticity, which was especially important to me when choosing.

They hold well on ice. They crawl well through snow. They behave confidently and predictably in snowy slush. All the studs are in place. According to the recommendations, I drove the first 150 km carefully, then 250 km without grinding and no faster than 60 km/h. After that, in any mode. The noise level is within reasonable limits, it does not bother, does not interfere, when the heater is turned on, the noise from the studs is not heard.

In this price segment, they are the best.

I bought the tires at the end of December, ran them in for about 800-900 km, and then went on a long trip to Minsk for the New Year - my car is a Kia Sportage 4. The total distance there and back was 5000 km. I drove on the highway in the rain on open asphalt, got caught in snow and ice near Penza, and then caught another downpour on the Tambov-Bryansk highway. I arrived in Minsk for the New Year again in the rain with a temperature of +5+7. On the way back, I drove in steady minus temperatures (-7-12), got caught in a blizzard and drifts on the road near Syzran, along with strong winds. I arrived home when it was already -15-17, and on the highway, there was severe ice and a strong blizzard. The tires performed very well in terms of stability when cornering and overtaking. They handle the road perfectly when drifting and on slightly uneven surfaces, in my opinion. They are not noisy, definitely, because before them I had Pirelli Ice Zero, and it's like heaven and earth. As for the studs: not a single stud fell out during the entire trip. The rubber is soft enough, and it seems to me that the faster you go, the less you hear the studs. I accelerated on the open highway in the rain at 0+2+3 to 130-140, the car held confidently, there was no skidding at all, but aquaplaning was felt at around 90-110 exactly. In corners, I felt a slight drift of the rear axle, but the front held confidently. I would recommend making overtakes in advance, because in the rain the tires do float a bit due to their softness, and on ice, it's better to gradually move into one lane and then another before overtaking. The studs hold very well in this case. However, there is one drawback, in my opinion, which is that the tires don't handle loose snow very well, because when the lugs are all clogged with snow, the car struggles to move, but I think this is a problem with all tires. In short, my verdict is: buy them, you won't regret it. In my opinion, they are definitely better than Ice Zero in terms of lower noise and stud retention. Good luck to everyone.

I bought them. While I’m breaking them in, I’m not driving over 50 km/h. The first impressions aren’t great, they’re skidding all over the place on the asphalt in the wet snow mix, feeling like they’re going to lock up and spin out at such a low speed.
