At first, they were a bit noisy, but after running-in for about 500km, they became almost noiseless, depending on the road surface. Excellent winter tire for harsh conditions.

I bought these tires when they were still called Hakka 8. The tires are great. Ice and packed snow are their element. Compared to Hakka 7, they don't like slush and deep snow. On asphalt and wet roads, you need to be more careful due to the number of studs, but like all Nokian tires, they have weak sidewalls.

Overall, it's a standard tire. It works normally on snow. On ice and dense snow, it tends to skid the car when turning. But for this price, it's okay. The studs are almost all in place after a season of use

An excellent tire in all characteristics, just what you need for winter, soft, many spikes, doesn't get stuck in snow, confident on ice, doesn't become rigid, such tires are on their own and work vehicle, the only drawback may seem to be the price, but it's justified.

After 10 seasons of using Goodyear Ultragrip Ice+ tires, it can be stated that there are significant differences in favor of the new Russian-Finnish Nordman 8 tires. The car drives much more confidently, and that's an understatement. For the first time in my life, after driving in the Far North, I switched to studded tires, so my review is quite specific, since I've only been driving on studded tires for two weeks! Unfortunately, I have nothing to compare it to. The car holds the road on icy and polished snow like it's on tram rails, and the non-studded tires can't compare. The previous non-studded tires only won out in terms of quietness, comfort, and softness, as well as driving on deep snow in courtyards, and that's considering the first 5 years of their use. On icy asphalt, the Nordman 8 tires perform very confidently, the hum of the studs at a speed of around 100 km/h is not annoying, and after 100 km/h it disappears. By the way, Nordman tires are made in Russia, and they are made qualitatively and evenly, to the point that when I put on the tires, the wheels did not need balancing weights. 2 out of my 4 wheels turned out to be without additional weights and went forward. In general, the tires are excellent in their segment, and in general, Nordman 8 is a premium segment, I'm waiting for the off-season...

Tires are great! They handle the road well, a bit noisy, but the stability and braking on snow and ice are top-notch. I recommend them.

Good tire, excellent on snow, but if there is ice under the snow, it slips. In normal civilian use, it's good, the biggest minus for me personally is that it's noisy on asphalt.

The tires perform well on ice, they dig well through snow and slush on the road. I remained satisfied. The new ones were very noisy, after 500-1000 km the noise decreased noticeably.
