Tread life: the second season
I was very satisfied with the first season. Just drove, braked and steered. Everything was good.
However, the second winter has changed the situation. Either the wear has been felt (although everything looks good visually), or the time has passed, or I've come to the tire more soberly.
So, at the end of two seasons. The tire is not expensive. It meets its requirements for its price. It behaves- Vehicle:

We used to buy them before all the crises and "events" for 2000-2400 rubles per piece)) for car fleets, the prices didn't matter to them!!! No competitors were even close (we take/test the best: Good, Mich, Pirelli, Conti, Yoko, Dunlop, Bridg). Nice +/- price-quality!
If they would only brake a little better on wet roads, and at high speeds, you could drift... The edges are NOT polished from the factory: sharp side lugs grip well, but don't allow racing on ice/skating/glaze, when starting, they slip a bit, when accelerating - less. On snow, everything is fine, thanks to the spruce pattern of the tread, they grip well in snowdrifts and "mush" (all our cars are 4WD). Wear is tolerable, 5-10% more on the edges, but the sidewalls are soft, and when stacked, they settle a bit.
A bit noisier compared to the RS-2 that replaced them, they save fuel (roll without gas, almost without resistance). High-quality medium-hard material: as an indicator, they don't become brittle even at -30`C - breed and technology, however)) because of which there is a dense effort (informative on the steering wheel), during normal driving for 7-9 years, there are no cracks (just store them correctly). Well-made (out of 300 tires, not a single defective one), although in their "parent" Finnish Nokian Hakkapelita, the rubber-roughness from the factory molds doesn't stick out. In our region, the roads are mediocre: in general, out of 100 tires, only 2-3 get punctures, approximately 60> km/h withstand a blowout (which is normal for Europe, and the cord hardness is not at the expense of excellent comfort).
**In winter, take a narrower width (when driving on frequent ice/glaze - so even narrow ones) for pressure on the road and a bullet flight through a snowdrift (but not narrower than the disk). Reviews - from jeeps/sedans/vans... and clearly, opinions differ (weight, suspension, region, wear, skills - everyone has their own) - read about cars similar to yours

My first snow tires, which I got with my car in 2010, were a great experience. They perform superbly both on snowy and dry roads as well as on wet roads. They only slip a bit on bare ice, but predictably, not dangerously. I had trouble taking off on a icy hill a couple of times, but I was able to drive down the hill on the tow truck. Good, relatively budget-friendly tire, put on the stamping. Excellent handling, very effective on wet roads, no issues on loose snow. On bare ice, handling is worse, no miracles happened and you need to be careful, but here the studding doesn't do that great either. A bit noisy and significantly reduces car's traction, which means it grips the road very well, that's it. Driven for 1 season, wear is minor. Good price-to-quality ratio.

Good grip, excellent price quality ratio. The best city option. Quiet, soft enough on frost, not bad in snowy mess.
On ice, where the grip naturally loses to studs, you need to think ahead; no tires are a 100% safety guarantee. In essence, Nordman RS (Russia made) is an analogue of well-proven Finnish Hakkapelita Q (already discontinued). Both have experience of operation. Didn't feel any difference. Bought for LADA LARG

On dry roads up to 140 km/h no questions asked. On snow - in the countryside, in the city - all predictable, more than sufficient handling. The wheels are just great. I ride on them in the suburbs of Yekaterinburg. I covered 12 thousand kilometers on them during the season with a tread depth of 8 mm, just as it was when I bought them. They grip snow perfectly. I drove through such snowdrifts where I had to wade through knee-deep snow without any hassle, despite having an automatic transmission. The only drawback is braking on ice. For the city, it's the perfect option

I first put on non-studded tires for winter and I don't regret it! The tires are great. They grip snow and slush perfectly, even better than I expected. I didn't get stuck even once this winter.
