Tyre reviews Nexen Roadian HTX RH5. Page 2 724

Excellent tires! I bought them back in 2018! The mileage is approximately written, but a lot! They haven't worn out even halfway! Moderately noisy. Well, Pajero and noise are inseparable))
Of course, these tires are EXCLUSIVELY for highway use! You can drive them to a vacation, fishing, or the forest, but without extreme off-roading. In 6 or 7 years, I've had 2 punctures from screws and not a single burst!
But the rubber is rather soft, which means good traction, but it's not ideal for starting with wheel spin (or maybe I just don't know how to do it))
I definitely recommend them! They didn't disappoint me during the time of abundance, and they won't disappoint now!
6 years ago, 275/65 R17 cost around 8-9 thousand. So the price is also excellent

I haven't driven much so far, about 5 thousand kilometers, mainly on asphalt, but there were also about 300 km of dirt road. Based on feelings - an excellent price-quality ratio. I wonder if they will last 80,000 kilometers, like my old American GoodRich once did, but what's the point of remembering those distant good times now.. I hope that by choosing a proven Korean tire from an unfamiliar Chinese manufacturer, I didn't make a mistake..

From the height of my rather modest experience, I can say that the tires are of good quality, soft, well-absorb bumps, a bit noisy (increased tread depth), but not critically. When driving on small gravel, pebbles get stuck between the tread, and when exiting onto asphalt, they slightly rattle - you have to pick them out. When driving on wet asphalt, it drains water well, holds the car in a rut, doesn't wobble. I didn't try it in "mud", and I haven't tested how it behaves in clay and sand. Overall, for city driving and light off-roading, it's quite decent tires. When braking, it also behaves fairly well.
In conclusion: I'm satisfied with the purchase, the price-to-quality ratio is decent. My winter tires are also Nexen. I recommend it for city driving enthusiasts who occasionally drive off asphalt onto dirt roads.

In terms of price/quality ratio, these are good tires. They were balanced at the tire shop without any problems. I had a chance to drive on both highways and dirt roads, in rain and even a bit in snow. I didn't notice any drastic difference between these and the original tires. I try to drive on highways at reasonable speeds and I don't drive aggressively, so for this driving style, the tires are quite satisfactory.

I got this almost unworn tire, size 225/65R17, as a bonus from the car seller when I bought the car. I've driven on it everywhere, in Crimea on sand, on mountainous muddy roads, and at home in the mountains where there's a lot of rocky terrain, on wet grass... I didn't deliberately drive into mud, as it's not the right car or tire for that, but I can say that for its class and price, this tire performs 100%. However, when the temperature is close to zero, it's scary to drive on it on icy roads, but it doesn't have the three-peak snowflake symbol on the sidewall either, so M+S here stands for "from March to September". Since I live in the south, I change to winter tires in December (and this year, in January) and back to summer tires in March. In general, over two seasons, this 2017 Nexen tire made in Korea has performed wonderfully. Currently, the tread depth is around 65-70%, so I decided to sell it and have already bought A/T tires from a different manufacturer for this summer, simply because the road tires are not enough for my needs, but they don't have to meet those requirements either.

I'm happy with them. Went with the Dunlop 235/55-19. Original spec was 235/50-19, but these sizes aren't made, and people on forums seem to have no issues with the 55 profile, too. Indeed, nothing's rubbing, joints are a bit softer, though this might be due to the profile and also the ContiContiContact's near-baldness before these. Balancing was a breeze, on the road - a dream

I bought summer tires Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 235/65 R17 108H XL in Mosavtochina. As with everyone, almost, before purchasing long tedious search: to be good and at a reasonable price. After reading reviews, I eventually stopped at Nexen, despite never having dealt with them before. After 3000 km, I have no regrets about my choice. Soft, quiet. It keeps the trajectory well at high speed. Those who say it is

Quite a noisy tire, poorly balanced (over 50 grams) on virtually all wheels, while the disks are practically in perfect condition without imbalance and vibrations. Not recommended.

I spent a long time choosing a replacement for the stock tires, which had been performing poorly in the last few months of use: the car would simply get thrown out of lane, I had to hold the steering wheel with both hands..., and a noise appeared that was comparable to winter studded tires... It was also difficult to choose what to buy in the new reality of Chinese goods... In the end, I decided to just go to the store and buy this one based on the country of manufacture, and also choose a pattern that suits my needs. The tire pleasantly surprised me. Now I drive through deep ruts, shifting as if on smooth asphalt. The noise level is satisfactory: it's noticeably quieter than the old, worn-out one - so that's a plus. On dry and wet roads, it handles wonderfully at high speeds. I drove into deep puddles on the asphalt at around 80 km/h - like on rails... I've given it 5 points in advance for snow, ice, and wear resistance - time will tell. And if it pleases me in the off-season and on rough roads, I can add another plus. The only thing I'm unhappy about with this tire is that the stock tire of the same size looked more expressive from the side)))

A decent tire with predictable quality. Not premium, but very worthy. When I bought it, it was on the car, and when it wore out, I didn't think twice and chose them again, because the price-to-quality ratio is correct. I recommend purchasing.
