Middlesbrough tyres behave fairly adequately. The tread is seated firmly in the tyre. Over two winters with different driving styles, at most 5 studs have been released on a single wheel! I consider this a good result. On asphalt it is, like any winter tyre, overly soft.

Great winter studded tire for its price. Properly broken in, you lose 2-3 studs after 2 winters. Rode in the field on a snowdrift, rode normally with a properly selected gear. Has a sense of confidence on the ice. Studs are slightly protruding, but that's a plus, less noise and wear. The rubber around the studs is badly damaged. Otherwise, there is no wear on the surface.

At 30 degrees below zero, the studs are already not holding if the road is a mirror, although at such colds and tank tracks slip on the ice.
In all other situations, the handling and movement are sure and predictable.
