The tire was previously 225/55/18, it was too hard, I replaced it with 225/60/18. The car became a bit higher and softer. The ride and potholes pass much more comfortably, but at the cost of increased height. Handling on dry roads: goes well and confidently. Handling on snow: haven't had a chance to test it, and I won't be driving on snow with summer tires. Braking efficiency: adequate. Wear resistance: can

Good tire for a crossover. A bit stiff, but the price to quality ratio gives it clear advantages. Holds well on both dry and wet roads.

It's ambiguous. Before that, I used TOYO OPEN U/T (according to experts, it was the quietest one). Yes, for the first 2-3 years. Then it howled and whistled on turns like Formula 1. I sold it with a remaining tread of 4 mm (not bad for 7 years). And now I'm facing a dilemma in 2024 - which Chinese tire to choose. I took the old-timer Maxxis Ache P M3 Bravo. Size 225/60-17 for the Sportage. It's soft and quiet. At the standard pressure of 2.2, it seems underinflated. When inflated to 2.5, it's a bit stiff. And everything would be fine, but there was an episode on the highway. Cheboksary-Moscow. Speed 140 km/h. May. Dry. Light. When driving over unnoticed potholes, it blew out so that the wheel started behaving like it had a torn cord with a characteristic thud-thud-thud. I stopped and... nothing. No bulges, no cuts... I cautiously started moving - no comments. It was as if nothing had happened. Further on, without incident. On the way back, approximately on the same section near Vladimir, the same thing happened again. Pothole. Blowout. Thud-thud-thud... Stopped. Checked and nothing.

That's what it was. It didn't happen again. The road was without a washboard. What's causing the resonance to produce thud-thud-thud? Maybe the cord turns into an oval after the impact? But how?

Has anyone encountered such a thing?

I'm satisfied with the tires. There were many concerns about buying Chinese tires, but they proved to be unfounded. They balanced surprisingly well, to the amazement of the tire fitter. They handle the road wonderfully. There's no aquaplaning at all. They withstood the heat of +38 degrees Celsius with flying colors (there were concerns that they might be too soft, or that the sidewalls might be too thin, or that they would lose grip in our heat). And then, suddenly, there was a freezing rain and the road was covered with a layer of ice. They even handled that, although they're purely summer tires. Previously, I drove on Nokian, Cordiant, and Hankook tires. I didn't notice any difference. I'm very pleased that I decided to take a risk and buy Chinese tires, and not overpay a lot of money. As for the noise, I won't say anything - my car has good soundproofing, and I didn't even hear the Cordiant All Terrain, which many people think is very noisy. I plan to try Chinese winter tires next.

When purchasing, I chose the tires based on their tread life. I found that the manufacturer claimed a mileage of 120,000 km.

After buying the tires, I measured the tread depth - it turned out to be 8.4 mm. Over 6 years, the tires have run about 70,000 km - the remaining tread depth is 5 mm. The tires are excellent, all parameters are as stated.

I spent a long time choosing, read all possible reviews. Replaced bald Bridgestone, only positive impressions. Quiet, waterplowing stable, good braking. Doesn't track (after Bridgestone). The only drawback, as written, not for extreme driving. On a loaded car at high speeds with sharp braking may "whistle", and also on roundabouts at increased speed slightly skids outwards. But this is not critical and easily controlled. Physics is still in place. No wear

I bought Maxxis Bravo tires most likely because of the price. I didn't install them right away, only after a year, when I had worn out the old tire to the same height. I'm no expert, so I won't praise their excellent qualities. I'll just say that I like them! The new tire is great, that's all I have to say! The tread pattern looks good, it was balanced - to a minimum. I drive like an ordinary person, I don't

I bought this tire based on reviews.
Previously, I had Michelin Latitude Sport 3 for 12,500 roubles on 19-inch wheels.
Maxxis outperformed it in all areas, and that's a big difference.
The most noticeable thing is: cornering stability (even like driving on rails), wear ( Michelin wore out completely at 30,000 km). On Maxxis, the same wear resulted in a loss of

The worthy quiet tires from the cheap. Quality at the level of the brands. 255/55/19R in the course do not feel as confidently as some write.
