I have a Renault Scénic. I had to take a lot of trips over the winter. After a long and thorough search and comparison of different winter tires, I chose Cordiant Snow Cross 2156516 with studs. I was pleased with the tread pattern and the presence of studs. I drove over 9,000 km last winter on this tire and there were no serious complaints. I have experienced a snowstorm, a torrential rain with subsequent black ice, and dry asphalt after a

The impression is: new tires from 2024. That's what they said at the tire shop: "It would be better to overpay, but you took Sailun". And I'm a patriot, so I didn't take it.

I have the fourth season on my West in the size 185/65r15. Among the advantages, it is very durable and inexpensive. Over three winters, I haven't lost a single stud, the tread wear is minimal, the sidewalls are strong, although I drive carefully. But among the advantages, the disadvantages are evident - it's noisy, for the first couple of thousand kilometers the music was not audible, then it wore in and became quieter, but still makes a decent noise. It's stiff, especially compared to summer tires. On dry asphalt, it behaves poorly, on wet roads it's better, on ice it's average, about a three. It doesn't like ruts very much, but this might be due to the narrow profile. What it does like, though, is a lot of snow, that's its element. Slush, thick packed snow, freshly fallen snow, and so on - it handles it well, grips and pulls through. Most of my mileage is on the highway, and I get tired of this tire, but for whom it would be suitable, it's for someone living in a rural area on a Niva or Grant, where there's little asphalt but a lot of snow - it's inexpensive, durable, good in the snow, what more could you need.

The story goes like this... This is the 3rd car in the family, it doesn't drive much, the usage of these tires was on the highway, on good roads, and they still look like new, the tread is in place. I started noticing that the rear right wheel was slowly losing air. I inflated it, some time passed, and then it lost air again, so I inflated it again. I thought maybe there was a small puncture somewhere. Then I noticed that the car was standing on the rim, so I inflated it again. The next day, it was flat again. I took a jack, a repair kit, and went to look for the puncture. But before that, I inflated it and heard strong hissing, I removed the wheel and I was shocked... On the inner side, on the side (in the middle along the length), there was a crack of about 15 cm, that's where the air was leaking from. I thought, damn, new tires and this happens, then the thought crept in, what if it had blown out while driving... Then I decided to inspect the other tires for peace of mind, and on the front left one, cracks were starting to appear along the circumference in the middle. Two tires are fine, two are busted. I'll put them in the back, and I bought new tires for the front. I'll never go back to tires from this manufacturer again.

They started deflating the tires. We went to the tire shop, "rolled out" the disks (thought they were the problem), but the disks turned out to be in good condition. The tire shop said that the tires were stored incorrectly and had a defect (as I understood it, something heavy was stored on them, like they were taken from the "bottom" and installed). In the end, they applied sealant, but still two out of four tires are leaking. Draw your own conclusions.
