I've been using these tires for 3 seasons now. This is my second set. They grip the road extremely well, both wet and dry. One time I hit a puddle at 120 km/h and they didn't even hydroplane. Some people might find them a bit too hard, but I personally like that. For me, handling is number one priority.

I bought Bridgestone POTENZA S001 205/55 16R 94W and I'm blown away by the sound, the most noise I've ever heard, from 10 to 50 km/h it's like it's screaming, I even wore out the tires on my winter studded tires and it's at least three times quieter. It's just insane, I have no idea what to do with this, I'm furious!

If you hit a pothole at speed, hold on to the wheel tightly as it can toss the car quite a bit (this is probably the "downside" of the strong sidewall of the Bridge). A great tire, though not for our battered roads - one would drive on highways with the wind in their hair...
