Universal RE004 lightweight doesn't wear out.

Straight-line driving - 5 light weight compared to semi-slicks
In the rain - 4.5 didn't let me down
At +1 there's grip, which surprised me.
Contact patch is small, 18.5cm wide at 225-45
Tires are very very good
But for racing, they're slightly lacking (245-40 might be better)
For everyday driving, need to warm them up and underinflate for grip

Fantastic tires!!! So quiet on the road: 200 km/h - no issues. Loads in corners - totally unresponsive until loss of traction! This is a top-notch tire!

Excellent tyres. Braking is simply super, aquaplaning is also top class. The tyres are perfectly stiff. I thoroughly recommend them, they're worth every penny.

Handling on dry and wet roads is just amazing, braking distance is minimal too. The tyres are great, but the word “quiet” doesn't apply to them. There's a feeling that the Hankook RS2 wintertime tyre is half as quiet.

A stiff sidewall, but that's more of a plus than a minus, it's virtually impossible to puncture. This, however, affects the ride comfort, but you've got to choose between stiff and sure or soft and sloppy.

Excellent tires! Just the right amount of stiffness, car holds grip well in the rain and most importantly, traction remains at the highest level on important asphalt. At high speeds the tires are very quiet, no hissing or whining noise, only the engine growling. In emergency braking, ABS rarely kicks in. Steering stability is excellent, the wheel has become stiffer, and the response to steering input is instantaneous.

230 hp is more than enough to keep the car on track easily, allowing for a good acceleration and maintaining control over the vehicle’s handling. It responds very sharply and without any delay to steering inputs, feels comfortable in a groove and you feel like you’re driving in a groove, but there’s no need to make any extra efforts to keep the car in line. Braking is stable, both on dry and wet roads with very rare intervention of ABS and ESP.

No regrets choosing the Bridgestone new model. It grips dry roads well and doesn't lose traction on wet roads, doesn't make a noise at any speed and on coarse asphalt, doesn't pull to the side when braking hard, and can withstand our less-than-perfect roads, even if you hit potholes and bumps.

It feels quite firm. It seems that on the small bumps that make up our Russian reality, it will be shaking quite a bit, but no such excessive shaking occurs. No unnecessary jolting, and if the car's suspension isn't too wooden, one can drive relatively comfortably even on the notorious "laundry board" roads (there's such a road type, unfortunately). The Japanese engineers have thought it all through, and I'm extremely satisfied.

Designed for high speeds, but we can’t even get up to speed. But that’s not really a problem, because handling is just as important at normal speeds. The Potenza holds the road beautifully, regardless of whether it’s dry or wet.
