Performs well on snow and ice, somewhat slippery on asphalt due to studs. But that's exactly how it's supposed to be. Overall, I've been running them for the first season - very happy. Japanese and quality are very compatible. I would recommend these tires to everyone. (My car is a Toyota Harrier)

I bought two sets, one for myself and later for a friend. The tires are excellent, I lost only two studs in two years. The rubber is of very high quality. I bought 4 Bridgstone Spike-01 tires at the "Wheel" store (St.Petersburg) on 11.10.14 and installed them on the same day on new rims. I bought them at a Toyota centre with the car. 205/55/16. The price was inflated by about 1500 roubles. In principle, the tyres are not bad. Soft, stable, quiet. Don't hold up badly on snow and ice.
