Tyre reviews Amtel Planet 2P. Page 2 136

I've read all the reviews about this tire. People are writing a lot, and their opinions vary widely. Here's my opinion: these tires are excellent for this price. Are there any better ones out there? They work great on wet roads and on dry roads too. And as for the lack of ABS on my car, I only realized it when the snow came and the roads froze. There are some small downsides, I agree, but I'd say they're not that big of a

Tires are from the factory manufacturer, wear is currently critical, 2-3 mm left. I think I'll change them to the same ones in the spring. I take care of the tires, just like the car, properly (pressure, balancing, washing for winter), driving style is calm. I drive almost always on asphalt, so I can't say anything about off-road qualities. Noise - how to evaluate it? more aerodynamic noise. In winter, I drive on different tires,

Drove a new Kalina from the salon to my house through snowy mush and wet asphalt for 200 km. Didn't drive fast - no more than 100 km/h. Very pleased with the tires - they grip the road confidently, the noise is not loud. Rolling resistance is good.

Tire for those who don't care about comfort, but the main thing is durability.
The rubber is hard, noisy, I bought it because I didn't have enough money for an expensive tire, installed it in the summer on the rear of a Honda Fit (tore the native Yokohama A10A), the rear became wooden, and only the pressure, which I lowered to 1.7, saved it, so that there was a weak semblance of softness.

Not a good tire
As good as Amtelek winter tire is, the summer one is just as bad. Balances poorly, on dirt and asphalt - average, on wet - poor. Brakes so-so, wobbles in the rut

A good tire for bad roads
The car on which this tire is mounted is mainly used for outdoor trips, car orienteering, directional runs, and driving on roads that are not in the best condition. Operation on killed asphalt - grader showed surprising vitality. Bent 2 discs, nothing on the tire. The second extreme test was when the car was pulled out of the rut, drove into a birch tree, bent the steering rod, and straightened it as much as possible,

This tyre was fitted when I bought the car. I didn't use it in winter. I used it on dry asphalt, dirt road and mud. It handles well at speeds up to 75 mph. I don't drive faster. I drove through deep potholes at different speeds - the tyre performed well, no cracks appeared. It is now almost completely worn out. The only serious drawback is that it is extremely noisy! For a budget car, I think it is a great option, especially

I've been driving on this tire for over a year now and I have no complaints about it. Those who say it's a piece of junk should first look at the price and then speak. If you have the money, go ahead and buy a Michelin or some other high-end tire.

In May I bought and put on four new tires. On July 29, I was lifting and what do you think I saw? A bulge on the rear right one, and the tread was cracking. The other three tires had bulges on the sidewall. It’s a disaster. After nearly three months, my whole set of tires is shot. That’s crap. I wouldn’t recommend this tire to anyone.

Got a new set with zero water evacuation from the tread, zero info, zero grip on dry roads, no feel of the edge when it starts to slide. Just cruising 70 in a tight, not too sharp turn, it felt fine, and then suddenly, BAM! And you're sideways.
I'd recommend putting the Granto and Priors on a diet!
