In 2009 I bought a set of 195/65 R15 for $63 each. These tires are soft and comfortable to drive, especially when they're new, they are a great traction. I've driven for 4 seasons: 25-30% wear, they hold the road perfectly in any weather, they are not afraid of deep snow, good cornering stability, they don't like bare ice, but that's not a chain, so it's quite GOOD! When I bought the car in 2007, by winter I bought a set of winter Ameteks 21. The tyre was excellent. I compared it with a friend on a snow exit and his Continental tyres with studs were on it. I went out on this tire for two seasons 08-10 and bought it again for the winter without hesitation, a similar one. It lasted for another two winters. I was satisfied with it in all respects, and it's worth remembering that it doesn't handle ice very well. You can also crash on "expensive" studded tires.

Excellent tire. In its price category, probably the best combination of quality and low price. Very confident on dry asphalt in strong frost and at a decent speed. A bit worse on ice. But at a lower speed on turns, the confidence in stable driving doesn't disappear. I am very pleased with the purchase of the tire.

This is a purely winter tire...snow + dirt and the snowflake logo..
When developing these tires, they took the studded Amtel Nord Master 310, removed studs, slightly changed the tread pattern and cut lugs. The result is competitive non-studded tires.
Asphalt for Amt

Worn out for three years without winter or summer feeling similar to Yokohama IG-20. No noise. Newly, it grips well on loose snow. In summer: mud, wet grass, rain without complaints. After 60% wear, speed adjustment is required. Minus points: Does not like clean ice, requires very careful accelerator control. Weakened side wall. Avoid potholes. Again, will not use due to astronomical price.

These tires are rubbish. Just driving on flat roads might just work, but God forbid you accidentally graze a curb or, as in my case, the edge of a highway overpass... A groove instantly appears, the steering starts to vibrate at 50-60 km/h and at speeds over 80 km/h, the steering becomes extremely difficult to control. Balancing them at the service station, as you understand, is of no help - this tire is a write-off...

While never getting stuck either in summer or in winter, and always stopping on time.

Budget tire with good features. Not suitable for driving on ice, of course. However, in snow, slush provides acceptable handling. Main thing is to maintain a high speed.
