I've been driving on Amtel Planet 2R 205/70/15 tires since I brought my car from the USA with a mileage of 115,000 miles (180,000 km) and I've been buying only these tires ever since. I've driven over a quarter of a million kilometers on them and I have nothing bad to say. Someone above wrote that at 110-120 km/h, the tires become unpredictable, but I drove at 185 km/h behind a truck and at 140 km/h from Volokolamsk to Moscow without any swaying or unpredictability! (At that time, the highway had just been repaired and there were no cameras or they weren't working yet.) However, on the 2110, they didn't perform as well due to the weight of the car, I think.
In the winter, I used Amtel Nordmaster tires and never got stuck in the mud! They handled like a K-700 tractor on a field, although once I couldn't drive up a icy hill, but I was able to drive up in reverse. Unfortunately, they're no longer available for purchase, and in the fall, I damaged one of the tires by driving over some metal object, so now I have three tires left and I don't know what to replace them with. GoodYear IceVentura has also been discontinued (it was on my Audi), and Dunlop 9000 (which was on my Mazda) is no longer available either... I'll have to start looking for a replacement soon!
Overall, I have nothing bad to say about these tires. The summer tires lasted for 3-4 seasons, and the winter tires lasted for 5 seasons. I currently have the tires from the rear axle moved to the front, and this set has been used for 4 seasons! If I could, I'd buy two new Nordmaster tires right now, and I'd have enough for another 4 years! If I could buy a new set, I wouldn't hesitate, but they're no longer available individually... there was one new tire available, but I missed the opportunity.
A friend of mine put these tires on his VW Transporter and on a 124th Mercedes, and another friend had them on his Niva, and no one had any complaints about these tires. Some people wanted to put them on their 16th UAZ, while others wanted to put them on their 15th Kamu Flame. This review is just my opinion, and I ask you not to judge me harshly, as everyone has different preferences, although there may be some overlap. In any case, I wish everyone good luck on the roads!!!!
P.S. Dear Amtel manufacturers! Please bring this model back to the market, as it's an excellent tire in the budget segment, and I think it will be in high demand in today's reality, both in 13-14 and 15-inch sizes!!
