Reduced heat generation while driving
The tire widely applies technologies that have proven themselves in other models of the brand. One of them is Cool Running. The optimized design of the sidewalls and breaker has made it possible to enhance the tire's ability to "hold its shape" while being under the continuous influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. This reduces the heat generation of the tread, thereby reducing rolling resistance. It is worth noting the application of the Energy AirShield technology, which ensures the tightness of the breaker cord, also improving fuel efficiency and reducing tire temperature, especially during prolonged high-speed driving.
Special compound
The tread is made of an Energy Passive rubber mixture. The basis of the composition, in addition to "silica", includes special elastomers. They further increase the elasticity of the compound, providing significant tear and tensile strength, as well as enhancing the mixture's ability to dissipate heat. As a result, the grip on wet surfaces is improved, the rate of abrasive wear of the tread is reduced, and fuel consumption is decreased.
Increased contact patch
Another technology "borrowed" from other models is MaxTouch. The application of the tread pattern and profile from the Primacy line has made it possible to increase the contact patch and ensure exceptional evenness of weight distribution across it. This facilitates the vehicle handling process during any maneuvers, contributing to a longer tire life.
