The tread pattern is designed in a symmetrical style, featuring triangular blocks that form continuous longitudinal ribs in the center. This solution improves high-speed stability, reduces rolling resistance, and promotes even tread wear. The outer zones of the tread are equipped with massive shoulder blocks with additional traction edges, which improve handling and increase braking efficiency, especially on wet roads.
The drainage channel system effectively drains water, minimizing aquaplaning. Four wide longitudinal grooves in combination with transverse notches accelerate drainage and ensure reliable traction even in heavy rain. The carefully optimized tread profile also plays a role, evenly distributing pressure and preventing the formation of a water film under the entire contact patch of the tire.
