Шины на GMC Sierra 1500 Limited (ГМС)

The GMC Sierra 1500 Limited is part of the line of light trucks. It has been produced since August 1998 and is one of the best-selling models in its segment.

Initial Version

The vehicle was available in a large number of modifications from the start, differing in cabin length, among other things. There were versions with 2, 3, and 4 doors with three cargo bed length options - from 1758 to 2479 mm. Another distinction was the trim levels. There were three of them - Base/SL, LS/SLE, and the luxury-oriented LT/SLT, with the latter only available with an extended cab or crew cab and an automatic transmission. The engine range consisted of "atmospheric" gasoline engines with volumes from 4.3 to 5.3 liters. All power units belonged to the Vortec family and had a V-shaped layout, differing in the number of cylinders - 6 or 8. In the "upper" trim levels with four-wheel drive, an additional "off-road" package was available, which included gas-filled shock absorbers with a 46 mm piston diameter, reinforced bumpers, stabilizers, steel protective plates for the bottom, and a high-performance air filter.

Subsequent Generations

In late 2006, the next-generation model was introduced, which largely represented a modernization of its predecessor. The pickup was available with two cabs, differing in length and number of doors - 2 or 4. Moreover, they swung open at 170 degrees at the back, just like the main competitor, the Nissan Titan. Additionally, the vehicle received the same radiator grille as the brand's SUVs. A unique feature was the engine. At the time, the pickup was the only model in its class with a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 403 horsepower. Combined with a 6-speed "automatic" and four-wheel drive, this allowed the light truck to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.

The interior stood out for its stylistic similarity to the brand's SUVs. In the base trim, it was distinguished by the dashboard layout, which allowed for the accommodation of the driver and two passengers in the front row. In 2009, the vehicle was updated. The changes mainly concerned the equipment. The pickup received a trailer control system, aluminum wheels, and tires with reduced rolling resistance. Such minor innovations were made to the pickup almost annually. Towards the end of the production cycle, it featured satellite navigation with a touch screen, ventilated seats, and interior elements made of matte aluminum.

In late 2012, the vehicle underwent significant updates. By that time, GM had developed the K2XX platform, which was used in the new pickup. The steel frame was manufactured using hydroforming, and the hood, suspension links, and engines became aluminum. The entire engine range consisted of new EcoTec3 power units with an "winged" metal head, retaining the V-shaped layout of the predecessors, but surpassing them in efficiency. All trim levels were also completely revised. The equipment of most of them included a Bose audio system. Additionally, the top-of-the-line High Country trim featured brown leather upholstery, which, along with other options, was the first time it was used in the brand's history. The next update, conducted in 2019, continued the change in concept. The pickup ceased to be a utilitarian commercial vehicle. Already at the medium trim level, materials typical of representative-class passenger cars were used, along with the front design, where the LED headlights integrated into the radiator grille were particularly prominent. In total, the manufacturer offered eight trim levels for this pickup at the start of sales, differing in wheel disks and tires, among other things. This product can be found in the "Mosavtoshina" online store.
