Шины на GMC Envoy (ГМС)
The mid-size SUV GMC Envoy was produced from 1997 to 2008. It was a copy of the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, which was assembled at the North American brand's plants in Ohio and Oklahoma until their closure. After the end of mass production, the car did not receive a direct successor, as during this period, GM transferred all mid-size SUVs to a chassis with a bearing body.First Generation
The car was first introduced to the general public in 1997. Moreover, its debut took place a year before the premiere of the second-generation Chevrolet TrailBlazer, a copy of which it was. In essence, this was its most equipped version, which offered leather seat upholstery, floor-mounted automatic transmission gearshift, alloy wheels, remote trunk opening, heated front seats, a Bose audio system, and much more that was not available for the "original".Second Generation
The next-generation car debuted in early 2001. In the model lineup, it replaced the Jimmy SUV, which belonged to the same segment but was produced in parallel with the first-generation SUV. The car was created on the GMT460 platform, which it shared with all "compact" pickups of the General Motors brands. This made it possible to significantly increase the wheelbase and also offer customers, in addition to the standard one, an extended version, which turned out to be just a few centimeters shorter than the full-size Yukon XL. However, the key feature of the car was its concept, with a platform from a light truck, it had an independent 2-link front suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers. The solid rear axle was connected to the frame via 5 links. In addition, the list of additional equipment included air suspension, which allowed the body to be leveled depending on the weight of the cargo being transported in the trunk. Another important difference was the engine range. The "basic" engine was a 4.2-liter Vortec V6 gasoline engine, which developed 270 horsepower. In 2003, the manufacturer began offering a long-wheelbase version with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 5.3 liters and 290 horsepower. Two years later, it received a system for shutting off half of the cylinders under low load conditions, as well as a number of changes, as a result of which it began to develop up to 300 horsepower, consuming a quarter less fuel. Unlike the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, the car did not become as popular in our country.
