So I don't drive much during the winter, I have a service car for that, but suddenly I had to and that brought up the question of changing my tires.
I used to have worn out 50,000 km summer Michelin Energy tires, but even with those, I had to drive carefully on the asphalt, as the tread pattern "three stripes" would squeal even on wet grass. Therefore, I wanted to get a tire with a "cruel" tread

The tire meets all parameters. Price 5500, made in Germany, exactly as it is written on the tire!!! Although I thought it would be from Slovenia. Size 225/55/17. Winter 19/20. Soft, quiet, holds the road perfectly. Slightly slips on ice during lane changes, but within normal limits, the main thing is not to get carried away. Holds dry and wet asphalt like a charm, accelerated to 200 km, stability and handling like on

225/55 R17. Tires are produced in Germany, as told by the manager during purchase, which may explain the relatively high quality. After 2-3 thousand kilometers, the impression of the tire only improved. Balancing was normal, didn't hit potholes - no bumps. Predictable behavior. For a calm driving style and beyond. On a dry road, on snow - excellent. On a wet road and in the rain - there are comments. When there is ice on

Considering the car's sound insulation, there is a question about the product’s noise characteristics at speeds of 40-60 km/h on dry asphalt. There are no other complaints. Handling on dry and wet surfaces is excellent. Wet snow or black ice - both acceleration and braking are excellent. Wear after 10,000 km is almost nonexistent.

Here's the translation:
"I've had the chance to test the new tyre on bare ice and snow and I'm pleased with the results. It's a quality tyre, and I would definitely recommend it to people living in the southern regions who experience winters with temperatures around zero to +5 degrees."

For the money, good tire. I live in southern Russia, and for our winters this is the best. For most of the winter it's either frosty asphalt or slush. I dislike the Blizzak, it has poor cornering stability on asphalt.

City and road are great, tire gets out of snow easily. Didn’t hit any ice, but I am positive that it will not give in to premium tire.

Excellent tires for casual driving, perform well on snow, if there's a slick road, you need to be very cautious as the vehicle glides smoothly down the highway, the side slip is as thin as it is on a summer tire, I bought these tires figuring the primary mileage would be on the highway, after driving on snow and unclean roads, I'm satisfied.

Normal tire, driving modes are very different, from super calm to... Main thing to remember is that "you can break it like a fool" I've been driving for two winters and didn't notice any drawbacks, but I'm more careful on ice, as on any slippery surface, it's great on snow, wet asphalt too, no need to talk about dry roads. I think it's quiet, but I have a straight exhaust, so maybe one thing interferes with another. It behaves well

For the winter season of 2020-2021, I decided to try out a new tire brand, Sava Eskimo HP2, 225/50 R17 98V XL. I used to run on Bridgestone Blizzaks. Let me clarify that I am a proponent of the "grip". Over the course of three autumn-winter months (October-December), I covered approximately 1500 km, both in city driving and on highways. From the very
