Here's the end of my first season on Sava Eskimo HP 225/55/R17 101V. The company was completely unknown to me before, but after researching online, I decided to give them a try. Given that winters in Kursk and Central Russia have been relatively snow-less in recent years, I made the unusual decision to go without studs for the first time and opt for the "mud-and-snow" compound

First year (winter 2013-2014) was mostly on asphalt, no issues, only asphalt, including damp or snowy and wet.
Rides, moderately noisy, doesn't float much.
Gets out of the track very difficultly.
Second year (2014-2015) had to drive on snow - blows weakly, digs in, at a speed of 20 km/h starts spinning on the spot backwards.

What are the sensations?

After the standard tire it feels a bit heavier. It's noticeable during acceleration. Now I'm not paying attention to it anymore. On dry asphalt it handles normally. Once I had to slam on the brakes suddenly, but for a second I was worried, but the connection with the road wasn't lost, the ABS didn't kick in, and I managed on my own.

On wet asphalt it's extremely grippy. It's like driving on

I bought them more by the look of the tread - I really like directional tyres, but I did read the reviews. I'm confident I made the right choice. The tyres grip the road very confidently, especially on Moscow's salty-snowy mess. Handling is excellent. Moderate (in my opinion) noise - different on different surfaces. I did notice that they hold the road much better when braking than when starting off, which is very important.

At the end of September I blew two tires and decided to get new ones and grab the winter set at the same time, as the unexpected expenses and money were not a priority

The salesperson at the shop recommended this tire, which I had never heard of before, made in Poland… I thought for a moment and decided to get it at 2800 per tire and…

I have never regretted it! The tire is excellent, it handles dry asphalt, rain, snow

Completely reasonable price-quality ratio. Completely satisfied.

Everything is fine with tire #211, except it is a bit noisy, possibly due to the winter tires.
