I bought these for my 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Before Nexen, I used Bridgestone Blizzak (non-studded) and MT Comforser CF3000 in the winter.
I'll say this - there's no noise from the Nexen with studs, but there aren't many studs either. They help a little on ice.
But in every other aspect - they're complete garbage... The grip on asphalt covered with slush and reagents is almost the same as with MT off-road tires, or even worse.
The rear axle can easily lose traction even when moving at 10-20 km/h on slushy asphalt in a turn.
They perform poorly on snow. The tread is too simple and "passenger car-like".
They get clogged with snow and can barely move. I didn't experience any similar problems with MT or Bridgestone.
In general, to my great surprise, the studded winter tires turned out to be only slightly better than the Chinese MT Comforser off-road tires and significantly worse than the Bridgestone Blizzak.
They're definitely not suitable for large and heavy vehicles. Except that they brake decently.- Vehicle:

Bought tires before the start of winter. The mileage is not big, 1800 km. It handles snow well. On dry asphalt, it doesn't make much noise. It's too early to talk about wear. In general, I'm satisfied.

Normal tire. Worth its money. The main thing is not to accelerate sharply, so as not to have to brake quickly.

Mileage on these tires is relatively low, about 2,000 km at the time of writing. All tread blocks are still intact, despite my rather spirited driving style, including sharp acceleration and braking. Traction on a thin layer of ice is good, and it doesn't skid. They are relatively quiet, with some summer tires making more noise. I've driven over puddles a few times at high speed, and the tires have stayed on course. As for durability, I'll

Passed the winter season around 8000 km without issues. During break-in lost 2 studs. Runs within the acceptable limits of a winter tire, neither louder nor softer. So far I have not observed any significant wear. Ordered from Mosavtoschina - all good. Would recommend.

Not a whisper compared to the noise of the Nokya! Perfect on both snow and dry asphalt. No taste or color preference - but my advice: give it a try, you won't regret it!
