There wasn't much of a choice, I wanted something for an acceptable price and not from Camu. On my previous car, I had Nokian Hakkapeliitta Green 2, the tires were good, but after 40,000 km, the wear was 80%, and by the third year, they developed small cracks all over. Now they are released under the Nordman brand, but from what I know about winter tires, Nokian and Nordman are not the same thing. There's not much information about Nexen, so I decided to take a risk. The tires are mysterious, I ordered Nexen ru1 suv 235/60/18 103h on the website, but nowhere on the tires did I see the "suv" marking, all photos and information on the manufacturer's website indicate that "suv" is only available with the 103V index in this size. And what's even stranger, the central rib is solid, without any tread pattern. The labels with Euro markings are also missing.
And everything would be fine, but the trip to the vacation spot on a wet highway became a nightmare. These tires don't know anything about aquaplaning resistance. A safe speed can be considered 40-60 km/h, any hit on a puddle or a water-filled groove, even a couple of millimeters deep, causes a shock and loss of control.
The tires are moderately hard, but quite noisy. The tread predictably floats on wet ground, it has nothing to grip. I decided to replace the stock Cooper with the hope of changes for the better, but it didn't get better, I lost in passability and resistance to aquaplaning.

Good tyres for the price. No particular noise either.
But once, in the rain, I caught some hard aquaplaning. But then there was a deep rut which the rainwater was flowing down from a hump. Barely managed to swerve from the guardrail. True, I was going 130 back then. Not like that at 90.

Hello everyone.
I bought tires in size 225/65 R 17.
They fitted perfectly, the ground clearance is 10 mm higher.
Korean tires, after two seasons no flats, no cracks, no cuts. Minimal wear and tear. Predictable and comfortable on the road. Confidently grip the road at 120 km/h in the rain. Did not notice any fuel economy, nor did I see any increase. Frequently chosen by the family for lake- Vehicle:
