Tyre reviews Barum Polaris 2 334

Super good
I've been driving for 3 seasons already, and there's still a long way to go before they wear out, although I drive at least 100 km every day. It handles the road perfectly on snow, slush, and ice. On asphalt, it performs like a summer tire. I highly recommend it to everyone. More expensive doesn't always mean better
Pros: Handles the road perfectly in all situations
Cons: Not noticeable- Control on a dry road
- Steering in the wet
- Control in the snow
- Control on ice
- Control on dirt
- Quiet in motion

For this money, you won't find better
I tried it for the first time about 5 years ago on a company's Lada Priora, back then it was not Polaris 2, but just Polaris. Since then, I've changed 3 of my own cars and also reequipped all the company cars. I and all the drivers like it.
Pros: price-quality
Cons: I haven't found any for myself- Rate
Overall impression: extremely disappointed.
To be honest: it behaves well on a clean or wet asphalt, but as soon as you hit the snowy mess, it starts to slip. Caution is required when starting on compacted snow, as it may slip. When cornering on snow and compacted snow, it tends to slide sideways even on reasonably smooth ride.
I previously drove on the Yokohama Isgard - excellent. No such drawbacks. I drove up the hill

Not a bad tire, but hates black ice. Slides. Also, constantly slips on icy surfaces. However, it handles okay on snowy or wet asphalt. At -22 it's fine, but I'm not sure about colder temperatures. For Rostov, it's an optimal choice.

Great tire, drove two winters and two summers without changing, 45,000 km, worn only in the front, rear as new, no signs of wear, bought two new rims for winter, will replace the front ones, and should be able to go another two years without thinking about it.

It handles fine in snow, 20 cm of unplowed road covered in snow, mud, slush - it goes. Ice is just a bit worse, not compared to studs. Soft, quiet, stable. Good winter tire at a normal price. After 3000 km of winter use, no wear, no lumps. Winter use - snow, slush, ice, mud, and dirt on dacha roads. I recommend.

The third season (made in 07 in Portugal), the tread on the front wheel has 3-4mm left, on the rear wheel - 5-6mm. The set was inherited from the previous owner, as well as a bulge on one wheel and a nail in the other :-). About 300 km were driven on the set in the summer. Wet, dirty (from reagents) asphalt or snowy slush - the car is uncontrollable :-( On dry asphalt -

I've driven on them for 2 winters. The front tires have worn down to almost zero, the rear ones are still intact.
On all types of terrain (except) and at a speed of 170 km/h, everything is great. On ice and snowy slush, they're practically uncontrollable. On wet asphalt, they squeal like a turbine in an airplane. Braking is at a solid four with a plus.
Aquaplaning is at an acceptable level
