Tyre reviews Barum Norpolaris 27

5 winters behind. Tires are still in good condition, with the studs in place but slightly worn. The tread still has a long life left. No comparison, I'm just writing as is. The tires cut into snow well. They don't grip well on ice, but that depends on the situation. On asphalt, they're a bit "drunken" because they're tall and have a high tread. On wet snow, they're an excellent option. I don't trust studs for gripping

I've been driving for the second winter and have mixed feelings: it performs well in deep snow and also on ice. However, there's one unpleasant feature on asphalt, whether dry or wet, which causes it to rapidly lose traction during emergency braking and... "oh...!!". I had a repair done for 55 thousand rubles (bumper, hood, and left headlight). And two more times it got me out of a similar situation. It has a greater braking

For three seasons, the tread on the Kalin has worn off by about a third. The remaining tread depth is still huge - but the traction bars are almost gone, proving they didn't fall out. They've been worn down to the base.
The tire is good for small and medium speeds on the highway and in the city.
Strong and rides well on spring and autumn mud.
It will be an excellent choice for low-power urban- Vehicle:

Above average quality for work vehicles
195/65/R15 Skoda Octavia operates in any weather, annual mileage is huge, technical maintenance, balancing, wheel alignment, very rare. The tires performed well on dry roads at speeds of up to 160, holding the road fairly well, on ice up to 90, it is possible to hold on, sometimes it gets worse.
Great!!!
The car is a Toyota Corolla E12 D4D, 2002, with 185/65/R15 tires. I've driven it for one winter, 2006/2007, mainly in Riga, mostly in the city, occasionally on the highway. On the highway, there's a slight noise starting from speeds over 70. In the city, it handles icy roads and brakes well, but could be better. I've driven over curbs

Tire for urban winter
I used to drive on Gislaved NF3, the new car came with Barum Norpolaris, so this is more of a comparison. On asphalt, especially wet, Barum behaves much better than Gislaved NF3, namely - the braking distance is shorter, directional stability is better, when changing lanes and driving through ruts, the car almost doesn't notice them. Once when the road was treated with liquid reagent, on Gisl

Under normal driving conditions, it lasted 20,000km, half of the studs broke off, 2 tires went over the rim, and it poorly brakes on ice. For asphalt tire.

I bought it, they said it's not bad. I would be happy to hear the opinion of one who has used it!!!? 07-11-2006I really liked
I've been using them for 3 seasons, didn't notice that they are noisy, brakes well on winter roads, but for a new car I will buy them
Pros: there is trust
Cons: not found
