Tyre reviews Barum Brillantis 273

I've driven them empty and full, on the road and off. No issues whatsoever. Now they're 8.5 years old, with 4mm of tread remaining. Time for a change by age alone. I'm after the originals - 165/80, or 185/70, but specifically Barum. I trust them. And for such a price (even at higher prices) you wouldn't want better!

After 2 seasons of use, cracks appeared at the edge of the tread. The tire mileage is 6000 km (I drive little, mostly in the city). Handling after Goodyear winter tires is completely non-existent, the car reacts slowly to steering wheel turns, it's harder to steer (I have to apply more force). But, of course, there's a plus: many times I had to swerve to avoid mad taxi drivers onto the sidewalk - no cuts or punctures.

Super
I've read and realized... I have Nokia 265/45, BMW 740 - 38th body. "10th", just bought... Had KAMA, installed Michelin - hard and disgusting. Threw Barum - the car brakes perfectly, holds the road - super... And on the topic of noise - the Nokian is so noisy that you can't even imagine. Rating: 20-08-2007 review sent by Yale
average or below this
It comes standard on the Skoda Fabia from the dealership. I'm going to change it, it's not suitable for the highway, it understeers a bit when cornering at 120 km/h, it's not much, but it's nerve-wracking, I'm looking for another one to replace it, I had Amtel on my previous car and it held the road better, although the Skoda has better handling in general

Fits the vehicle class. Ran 49,000 km (mainly city), 5 seasons. In total: 1 sidewall cut, tread didn't reach the bulge, by the 5th season there was a crack effect (age). A bit noisy (especially coarse asphalt). Cuts straight water above average. In corners - below average.

Wore well up to 99,000 km and was sold with the car, along with a "zero" spare tire. It's interesting how you can kill the tires in 30,000 km with a "moderate" driving style? :-) That's not even a style. :-) Normal tires for budget money. No planning up to 120 km/h when there's a 3 cm layer of water on asphalt, from Borisoglebsk to Saratov (heavy rain). On

I've been driving for three years, quite enough. The wear and tear is pleasing - minimal tread wear. It's soft. The grip is not very good - frequent wheel spin when accelerating hard, can get stuck in mud - lacks traction. It's noisy at speeds over 100km. For city driving without extreme conditions - ideal, especially considering the price.
I'll be getting the same ones for summer, since I've changed to larger rims.

normal price-quality ratio
drove for two years, about 35,000 thousand. Production - Romania. It's hard to say that it's soft......But it's quiet enough - that's a plus. Behaves well in the rain. At high speeds, there are no particular complaints, although there were no extreme situations....In short, the tire is reliable....
Pros: price, low noise
Cons: fairly stiff 11-03-2007Summer tires Barum Brillantis
Tires were used on VAZ-09. I liked it... especially when I drove into a tunnel at speed, with 10 cm of water and the car didn't even skid! The waves were above the roof...)) I drove for 2 seasons... no problems.
blew
It has been 3000 km and it blew up on a flat asphalt road at a speed of 20 km/h. Only one blew up on the right front wheel, and there is actually no tread wear. I fully agree with the noise.
Pros: Wear-resistant
Cons: reliability, noise 11-07-2007
