The Winrun WR21 winter tire is installed on most modern passenger cars, operated in both urban and highway conditions. The model has a directional symmetric tread with abundant lamellization. This provides effective control on slippery roads and rapid cleaning of the contact area.
In the central part of the tread, there is a ring-shaped rib that is responsible for the responsiveness of control, as well as the stability of the vehicle's position when moving in a straight line. Diagonally directed block structures in the middle and shoulder zones contribute to the leveling of lateral displacements during maneuvers, as well as improving traction properties.
The use of a compound with a silica additive made it possible to maintain the softness of the rubber in conditions of negative temperatures. This factor led to the maintenance of grip on winter roads and a reduction in braking distance.
