Reduced braking distance on wet pavement
The tire is adapted for operation in conditions of so-called "European" winters, which are accompanied by frequent thaws. It is for this reason that this winter model has a sufficiently developed drainage system. Its main components are three wide longitudinal grooves. The outer ones have a zigzag shape, which, in addition to draining the contact patch, provides it with additional transverse traction edges. This significantly increases the efficiency of the tread during longitudinal accelerations.

The tire tread is literally peppered with small wavy slots. They are distinguished not only by their large number but also by their multi-step arrangement. This further increases the efficiency of these elements, providing the tire with better traction on icy and wet surfaces.

Another feature of the tread is the design of the shoulder areas, namely the part located on the sidewalls. It has numerous ribs that perform several functions. One of them is the formation of additional traction edges that improve the tire's efficiency when driving on uncleared snowy roads. In addition, these elements provide additional protection for the tread against lateral punctures and cuts.
3-ribbed slots
The blocks of the central part of the tread have a complex composite shape and are arranged in such a way that when in contact with the road, they form 3-ribbed slots. They effectively capture and hold snow from the surface of the road, which achieves better traction with it. This ability is further enhanced due to the saw-toothed shape of the block edges.
