Motorcycle tire Pirelli Diablo Rosso III is designed for sports road bikes. Developed using technologies applied to circuit racing tires. Characterized by sporty refined handling, reliable traction at any motorcycle lean angle, and long service life.
Optimized compound
The tire tread is made using two rubber compounds. At the edges, the tread has increased elasticity for better grip in turns, and in the center, it has been intentionally made stiff to improve directional stability and reduce rolling resistance. Both compound options are characterized by the presence of special silicon-containing compounds and polymers in their composition, which gives the tread an extremely wide range of operating temperatures.
"Racing" tread profile
In side projection, the tread profile is executed exactly the same as the tires used in circuit racing for superbikes. It provides faster and smoother lean angle changes, giving the bike sporty refined handling.
Sporty tread pattern
Another "borrowing" from racing tires is the tread pattern design. Essentially, it's a "slick" with zigzag drainage grooves. This solution provides excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces.
