The Metzeler Sportec M9 RR motorcycle tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of sportbikes. It is characterized by uncompromising precision handling, reliable traction on wet pavement, and an extended lifespan.
The tire features a reinforced carcass made of multi-layer synthetic cord. Its rigid yet lightweight structure provides handling precision and stable traction. The tread is made of two compounds, both with increased "silica" content but differing in elasticity. A "hard" compound is used in the central part, allowing for better control of the bike at high speeds. In turn, the ultra-soft shoulder zones provide traction even when the footpeg touches the road surface.
