The Michelin Road 6 GT motorcycle tire is a special version of the model with the same index, differing from it in size range and increased strength. This is due to the purpose of this model - "sport touring" on motorcycles with increased engine displacement.
A significant part of the differences from the "base" model is contained inside the tire. The crossing threads of the multilayer cord at a right angle provide the carcass with increased stiffness, maintaining it even when aggressively passing turns. The sidewalls of the tire use a special cord that has some elasticity, sufficient to dampen a significant part of the shock impact from road irregularities. The final result of these designs is a balanced balance between traction, handling and comfort.
