The Skoda Superb Scout was introduced in 2019 as part of the update of the entire line of versions of the medium-sized model of the Czech brand. The car is available exclusively in the "station wagon" body, differing from the standard version with improved "off-road" properties.Key differences
The car is based on the standard Superb station wagon, but already in its updated version, which differed in the changed design of the front part with a wider radiator grille, in which the headlight headlights are integrated. The "off-road" version adds to this a plastic body kit "around the perimeter", including unpainted plastic overlays on the wheel arches. The salon is distinguished by the presence of decorative elements imitating natural wood, as well as upholstery of seats with authentic stitching.An important difference was the modernized suspension with other springs and shock absorbers, which added 15 mm to the ground clearance. The engine range compared to the standard version has been significantly reduced and consists only of two power units. The base version offers an in-line diesel "four" with a volume of 2 liters, developing 190 horsepower. Top modifications are equipped with a gasoline engine of the same volume and layout with a capacity of 272 horsepower. Both power units work in "pair" with a 7-speed robotic gearbox DSG with two clutches. All versions are unambiguously equipped with a four-wheel drive system, and "off-road" modes borrowed from VAG concern crossovers have been added to the control system.
