Шины на Skoda Fabia (Скода)

The Skoda Fabia is the successor to the Felicia, a compact model in the B segment, which was produced until 2001. In its first generation, the car was available in sedan, estate, and hatchback bodies, the latter of which is now the only option for this model.

Type 6Y

The first generation of the model with the 6Y index was presented in September 1999. The following year, the car became available in the estate body. This was the first model created on the A04 platform from Volkswagen, used in compact cars from both VW and SEAT. The base engine in the range was a 1-liter engine, and the flagship was a 1.9-liter turbo diesel. The success of the first-generation model was largely due to the use of VW-produced components, which were cheaper for Fabia buyers than similar cars from brands owned by the German manufacturer. The only engines developed by Skoda were the 1 and 1.4 liter MPI engines, which were used in the previously produced Favorit and Estelle.

Type 5J

The second iteration of the car with the 5J index debuted in the spring of 2007. Although the model inherited the platform from its predecessor, it increased slightly in size, largely due to the desire to unify the styling with the previously introduced Roomster minivan. A year later, the Combi version was introduced in the estate body, which was also larger than its predecessor, with a luggage compartment increased by 54 liters. The engine range had a mixed structure, consisting of engines used in the previous generation and power units from Audi. The former included the base 1.2-liter gasoline engine, whose power was increased to 70 horsepower. The most dynamic versions were equipped with a 1.4-liter engine with variable valve timing, producing 105 horsepower. The diesel part was represented by 3-cylinder Pumpe-D?se engines from the previous model, with the top being a 1.9-liter engine from the same company, producing 105 horsepower, which was installed on the "charged" RS version.

Type NJ

The debut of the third-generation car with the NJ index took place in October 2014. Unlike its predecessor, which was not too different from the first iteration, the model was seriously redesigned. It used the PQ26 platform, which was a combination of the previously used PQ25 and the new modular MQB. According to the manufacturer, the chassis was modified to return to the characteristics of the first Fabia, resulting in its successor being 90 mm wider, 30 mm lower, but 8 mm shorter, offering more space for passengers due to the extended wheelbase.

Type PJ

In the fall of 2021, Skoda introduced the fourth-generation model with the PJ index. Externally, the car has a design that is stylistically consistent with other models of the brand. At the same time, the modular MQB-A0 platform is used, on which the Scala and Kamiq are based. In particular, this allowed the wheelbase and width to be increased again, providing more space in the cabin. The reduction in height ensured a reduction in the drag coefficient from 0.32 to 0.28. The engine range consists of three engines from the Volkswagen Group's EA211 series, with capacities ranging from 1 to 1.5 liters and power ranging from 65 to 150 horsepower. The base modifications are equipped with a 5-speed "mechanics", and the middle and higher trim levels have a 6-speed manual or 7-speed robotic DSG. Since the first generation, this model has been popular in our country, often found on domestic roads. This popularity is largely due to the popularity of tires and wheel disks for this car, which are presented in a wide range in the "Mosavtoshina" online store.
