The compact car Mini Clubman of the representative class is a development of the BMW concern, which became the owner of the "Mini" brand. Despite its German "stuffing", the model retained notes of English design.

The beginning of the story

The car was first shown in 2007. It was an enlarged Mini Hatch. In addition to its dimensions, the "Clubman" stood out for its original two-door rear door. It is noteworthy that initially, the 1.6-liter diesel engine was supplied by Ford, and from 2011, BMW began to install its own power unit with the same volume. The transmission is represented by two 6-speed variants of the manual transmission and automatic transmission.

The manufacturer paid special attention to additional safety systems. Therefore, the car is equipped with a stability control system, electronic distribution of brake force, and an emergency braking function.

F54

It was under the number F54 that the new generation of "Clubman" was presented in 2015. Its basis is the proprietary platform from BMW UKL2. The car increased in size, becoming one of the most spacious among the "Mini". The manufacturer abandoned the original side doors, equipping the car with a conventional four-door structure. Note that the rear two-door doors were left. As many users believe, they make access to the trunk more convenient.

In 2023, the company decided to stop producing the model, which did not achieve commercial success.
