Modern Era

In 2015, the third generation debuted, which, after the 2018 restyling, remains relevant today. The car increased in size, and the roof drive became fully electric. The engine range includes gasoline engines with volumes of 1.2, 1.5, and 2.0 liters, as well as diesel options with volumes of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. The latter, TwinPower Turbo, can deliver 231 horsepower, accelerating the cabriolet to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Despite the fact that the car's exterior was completely redesigned, its classic features remained unchanged. The clearance of only 115 mm allowed lowering the center of gravity, which, in combination with the sporty suspension, affected the maneuverability and responsiveness of the handling.

In 2018, the car underwent a restyling, which slightly changed some of its decorative elements. In the cabin, a touchscreen display appeared in the "base," and the control of many functions was moved to the steering wheel. The engines were also redesigned. Among the transmissions, a robotic version with two clutches appeared. All this "refreshed" the "Cabrio," making it relevant in the modern world of cars.
