Second Generation

In 2013, the Chinese brand presented the next-generation sedan. It still used the predecessor's platform, maintaining a technical connection with the Toyota Corolla. Moreover, the model's side profile remained unchanged. The only external difference was the front end, the design of which was brought in line with the current Geely models. In 2017, the car underwent a restyling, acquiring more harmonious outlines and an increased rear overhang, as well as a wheelbase, the length of which became 15 mm longer - 2615 mm. In addition, the interior changed, almost entirely taken from the Emgrand sedan, except for the trim materials and the climate control unit panel. From it, the car also "inherited" a multimedia complex with an 8-inch touch screen and the G-Netlink operating system of the third iteration with Internet access via 4G networks. In the engine range, only the 1.5-liter "atmospheric" engine remained from the predecessor, which underwent another modernization cycle, developing up to 109 hp. An alternative to it was a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline "four" with a power of 133 hp, working in "pair" with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The version with a turbocharged engine was available only until 2019, when the sedan underwent another update. Only the "atmospheric" 1.5-liter power unit remained in the lineup, which was combined not only with "mechanics" but also with a variator instead of an automatic transmission. The exterior underwent minor changes, affecting the bumpers, radiator grille, and headlights, which featured 4-section LED strips. In the salon, the design of the ventilation deflectors was revised, and the multimedia system received a voice control function.
