    Geely Cityray debuted in the lineup of models of the Chinese brand in the fall of 2024. The car is an export version of the 2022 Boyue Cool crossover, differing in minor changes in design and equipment.

    The car's exterior is similar to the higher-end Geely Atlas crossover, but the technical connection is closer to the compact Coolray, with which it shares the modular BMA platform. A modified version of this platform is used here, which, in particular, has made the car significantly larger and also implies the use of a multi-link suspension at the rear, rather than a semi-independent beam. Additionally, the trunk volume has been significantly increased - up to 571 liters versus 300 liters in the "Coolray". Under the hood is the same 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four gasoline engine as the Coolray, producing up to 147 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. It works in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic transmission with two "wet" clutches. Even in the standard trim, there is the possibility of choosing between four driving modes and transmission settings, along with a multimedia system controlled by a 13.2-inch vertical tablet, a 10.25-inch instrument panel screen, climate control, combined seat upholstery, LED optics, rearview cameras, electric heating of the front seats, steering wheel, and windshield wiper rest area. Top-end versions increase the number of airbags to 6, add panoramic roof glazing, adaptive cruise control, "atmospheric" interior lighting, electric tailgate drive, and a complex of electronic driver assistance systems.
