The development of the car began in 2017 and was initially carried out by the Chinese brand's own design team. In 2018, former Rolls-Royce designer Giles Taylor was brought into the project, which significantly influenced the final appearance of the sedan. In technical terms, this model is close to the H7 business sedan, sharing with it, among other things, the platform, a modified version of the "cart" from the Toyota Crown of the early 2010s. The engine range starts with a 2-liter inline-four with turbocharging, producing 252 hp and 380 Nm. It comes with a hybrid "superstructure" in the form of a 48-volt starter-generator, which increases the operating time of the "start-stop" system and reduces fuel consumption when starting and accelerating, reducing the load on the main power unit. The car is equipped with a more suitable benzene V6 with a volume of 3 liters, producing 283 hp and 400 Nm. Both power units work in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with a double clutch and an alternative rear-wheel drive. In the spring of 2024, the car underwent an update, which made minor changes to the exterior and technique. In particular, both power units became slightly more powerful, and instead of a robotic gearbox, an 8-speed hydro-mechanical "automatic" appeared.
