Generation 1

Initially, the sedan was based on the Ford CD3 platform, which was previously used not only by the manufacturer itself but also by the Japanese Mazda to create the Mazda 6 (2002 model). The increased-in-size car attracted with its spacious salon and completely new trim of the front panel with improved ergonomics. A 2-liter gasoline engine with 147 horsepower and 185 Nm of torque was installed in the base. There was also a "charged" version RS, on which a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine from Volkswagen was installed. It had 180 horsepower and 235 Nm.

Generation 3

The latest and current generation began its existence in 2020. Its base is the new FAW Modular Architecture platform of a modular type. Now the main body is a liftback, which was supplemented in 2021 by a cross-hatch modification. Among the features of the exterior, we can highlight the original radiator grille, the individual elements of which resemble raindrops.

In the salon, there are now two screens: one in the form of a digital "dashboard" and the second for managing multimedia and a number of systems. Even climate control is implemented in the form of a touch panel, on which two physical regulators are located. Among the equipment, we can note a 360-degree camera, a panoramic roof, and electric drive for the front seats.

Under the hood, two engines are installed, both with turbochargers. A 1.5-liter engine produces 169 horsepower and 258 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed "robot" or a 6-speed manual transmission. A 2-liter engine has a power of 224 horsepower and 340 Nm. It works in pair with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
