Шины на Chrysler LeBaron (Крайслер)

The Chrysler LeBaron was part of the brand's lineup from 1977 to 1995. It was a compact car by North American standards, available in a wide range of trim levels, standing out from its "classmates" with its extensive equipment and high level of comfort.

First Generation

The car, introduced in 1977, was a landmark for the brand, as it was its first compact model. It debuted with the new M platform, which would later be used to create lineups for other Chrysler brands, primarily Dodge. It differed from them with a more solid design and extensive equipment, as its key competitors were the Cadillac Seville and Lincoln Versailles. An advantage over them was the wide selection of body types. In addition to the 4-door sedan, it included a 2-door coupe, and from 1978, a 5-door sedan. Under the hood of the base versions was a 3.7-liter V6 gasoline engine, and in more expensive versions, a 5.2 and 5.9-liter V8. All powertrains worked in conjunction with a 3-speed automatic transmission.

Second Generation

The second-generation car, which debuted in 1982, was created on the K platform, also receiving the now familiar front-wheel drive layout. Initially, sedan and coupe versions were available. Later, a convertible and station wagon were added. The latter was distinguished by the presence of decorative panels on the body, imitating natural wood, a reference to classic North American station wagons of the 1940s. In terms of equipment, the car stood out with a driver information system, which warned of unlocked doors and low oil pressure in the engine with an artificially synthesized voice. The engine range was radically revised, entirely moving to 4-cylinder gasoline engines with volumes from 2.2 to 2.6 liters. Depending on the trim level, they were combined with 3- and 5-speed automatic transmissions.

Third Generation

In 1987, the North American brand introduced the third-generation car. Essentially, it was a modified version of its predecessor, created on the same platform, but in a modified form, receiving the next alphabetical index, J. Against its background, it stood out with a more modern body design, which became more effective in terms of aerodynamics, distinguished by a greater slope of the windshield and radiator grille, as well as plastic shields covering the headlights. In turn, the interior also received a more "smooth" design, getting rid of the straight angles and lines of its predecessor. Depending on the trim level, the car was equipped with disks and tires with diameters of 14 and 15 inches. This and other wheel products are constantly available in the assortment of the "Mosavtoshina" online store.
