Poorly balanced

The task was to replace the dead all-season tires with any decent winter tires, so it wouldn't be scary to drive with a newborn baby. My husband set the requirements - "choose what you want, but according to factory parameters". We decided to take non-studded tires as well, although the debate in my head was still ongoing - which one is better? But due to frequent driving and constantly cleaned roads in Moscow, we decided to try them, we can always buy studded tires if we realize our mistake.

Honestly, the choice was not big, plus the need for reinforced tires arose due to my husband's love of transporting a ton of cargo or furniture to the brim of the car.

Entering the factory parameters into the search - my eyes didn't widen, unless it was from horror. Or from the horror of the price or from the horror of the seen tread pattern - how can you drive in winter on such a pattern? - I don't understand.

At first, I decided to choose from good firms, having reviewed different reviews, tests, and according to all parameters, my eyes fell on Hankook W616 I*Cept IZ2 235/60 R16 104T XL

The price left much to be desired, and I started looking for a similar option among Chinese brands, although we had never considered this before.

Comparing parameters, re-reading reviews, and paying attention to the presence of a Scandinavian tread pattern - I came to Triangl. A pleasant bonus was the current discount on this particular model.

Impressions: my husband is sad that he can't drift as easily as before. The braking distance has become noticeable, not slippery.

In general, good winter tires, excellent for their price.

To be fair, all this time he was driving on 10-year-old all-season tires, so in comparison, Triangl will give completely different sensations on all fronts.

I'm using Chinese tires for the first time, and due to market conditions, I had to make this choice. Tires in size 225/50 R17 on a four-wheel drive and powerful car with 330 horsepower, I thought it would be a complete disaster, but everything is quite comfortable in terms of traction and noise level. Perhaps while the rubber is fresh, such results are possible. On ice, it skids strongly, but if you drive on asphalt, slush, and snow, it's a very good option for the money.

These tires are used in Krasnodar and the region. Stable behavior on snow and slush, as well as just wet roads. Not noisy. For a non-severe winter, a good option.

So far only positive emotions. There has been no snow yet, so I can't say anything about winter use. They balanced well, no more than 15 grams per wheel. They ride quietly, softly, and the steering wheel doesn't vibrate.

Don't take it but.....

On October 1, I purchased these tires in size 235/55/19 for a Carnival, bought from an official dealer (not at a tire service), on October 12, I installed them and, oh mother, 3 out of 4 wheels had a weight of 65, 80, and 110 grams on one side during balancing, and they struggled and managed to put 45, 60, 60 at most.
And the disks are in perfect condition.
I drove the first 50 km and there's a hum that's so loud it's splitting my head, drove 700 km and the hum is slightly less but it's still strongly present.
The store doesn't take responsibility for the tire defect and, quoting verbatim: "what are you, an expert?"
I've driven a total of around 2.5 million km on different cars, and they're simply making a fool of me, the whole return process is through an expert, and stories about it being normal for such tire sizes to have a weight of over 100 grams or more, let them tell it to themselves.
The tire production date is 13th week of 2024.

They say that the tires used to be good, and I have to give credit, my friend put this model on his two cars and PL02 on the second car, and he's happy (BMW X5 2019 and Audi A4 2022), maybe they used to be good, but now they're complete trash, and I find such reviews exactly now.

I bought them right after purchasing the car in 2019. Winter was just around the corner. That's how it happened.

I don't regret it. Like all Asian studded tires, they work well for acceleration and braking. They are weak in turns, but everything is relative. In normal driving mode, they work well. And the car's safety systems sometimes help. Especially in turns and on obvious black ice.

Excellent tires, I used to use Michelin, but the price of it now....., in general, I didn't regret it once, the price, quiet, soft, grippy, I love driving fast, had to brake sharply with maneuvers, in this case, there is a lack of precision (sponginess) in handling compared to Michelin, but the price is also much lower. I recommend!

Installed a few months ago, not once regretted. This winter brought difficult weather conditions, the tires justified themselves
