On my XL7, the 235/60 R16 tires for their price (at the time of purchase - 6900r per piece) have proven to be a classic friction tire (studless) - neither better nor worse. Exactly what you expect from such tires - they brake adequately as long as you maintain an adequate speed during winter. Not suitable for those who drive at +40 and then slam on the brakes at the last moment) But for others who soberly assess the capabilities of studless tires in snow and ice - I strongly recommend, as someone who drove on a wooden Dunlop last winter - a new Chinese tire is better than an old Japanese one, don't risk it)
