Everyone knows that the manufacturer, even with the same tire model, constantly changes the rubber compound, and the same applies to Pirelli WCE, which has had at least two updates, so when buying, pay attention to the date and country of manufacture. Turkey is worse, Spain and Italy are better.
The impression of the tire itself is positive, I compared it to Gislaved Nord Frost 5 and Hakkapeliitta 7, Gislaved, of course, loses

The tires were not very noisy for studs, as the tire technician advised me to drive about 500 km at a speed of no more than 60 km/h without hard braking (he said it increases the lifespan of the studs) until all studs are in place, on the snow the car is doing well, though deep snow is not available now, on compacted snow it feels good too, asphalt - no fanatic acceleration and braking are in order. In general, the tires are normal. I recommend

The impression of the tires itself is positive. They are noisy, but this is not a problem in the winter. I drove on these tires both on winter highways and in slush and almost on ice. The behavior on asphalt is no different from summer tires, while on ice and snow, it is like that of excellent quality winter tires. It brakes very well!

I bought Pirelli Winter Carving Edge tires in winter 2012 based on tests by "Behind the wheel" and "Autoreview", and the production for my tires was Turkey. I've had relatively little driving experience, so it's hard to compare them, but I can say that the tires are extremely noisy, and I now realize that acoustic comfort is a very important factor. Additionally, the tires wear down the studs very fast, even with careful driving. I've had to reb

Three seasons on these Pirelli with studs, liked that they don't make much noise, or not as much as Hakkas, for example. Pirelli studs are a bit smaller, don't stick out as much, which may be why they make less noise, but the fact is that they don't affect the driving properties on the ice, excellent acceleration and braking. In turns, you just need to be a bit more careful, don't drive like in the summer, but better than

Good tire. It goes confidently on snow and ice and doesn't drift when it hits a snowbank, and it brakes well.

No balancing issues with weights 5-15g
Ran 2 seasons, lost 3-4 studs on each tire.
Extremely soft compound, rides comfortably over irregularities, but noise cancels out all the pluses, noticeably beats the steering wheel in the range of 85-100 km/h. Not worth the money, there are better options for less.- Vehicle:

The worst tire ever! I've driven for 2 winters and already half of the studs are gone... Gets stuck in the snow and slides on the ice! In minus temperatures, they become rock hard like plastic. In turns, they immediately and unpredictably lose traction... I will never buy them again! And the noise they produce is utterly insane!

I bought it on the recommendation of a salesman at a large tire store ("Igrec" in Samara). I drove 7500 km, and 30% of the tread is already gone. The remaining ones sit in place without any deviations or curves. The mileage is 50/50 - city/ highway. I drove carefully (as a granny). To put it mildly, I'm not satisfied with the tire, objectively worse than the Cordiant Polar (I drove

BIG REQUEST "Write the country of origin" PIRELLI / WINTER CARVING EDGE has German, Turkish, and Russian (complete rubbish). The quality of this tyre is greatly dependent on the country of origin!!!!!!
