Good tire, even though I bought it at the end of the season, so I drove it quite little. But I've already formed an opinion, first impression, you know. In comparison to the old Toyo Observe G3 Ice 195/65 R15, which constantly braked poorly with ABS, and accelerated poorly - the stabilization was suffocating the engine to prevent the wheels from slipping, it was like heaven and earth. On Nexen in size 225/45 R17

175/70/14 WH62.
Bought for taxi cars. Very bad handling on ice, at a temperature of +5-2 doesn't like traction with the road at all, especially if the road is wet like in Moscow. This is only a month of operation. Previously, I used Toya tires, the difference is big, in favour of Toya. I wouldn't recommend especially for taxi parks.

Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you my impressions of the Nexen Winguard WinSpike WH62 205/55 R16 94T XL tires. At the time of writing this review, the tires have covered approximately 4500 km, mainly on highways, and they have performed exceptionally well. The tread is soft, the noise level is low, the grip is good (no exaggeration), the studs are in place, and the handling is predictable. In general, I'm

I bought this tire after reading reviews for the previous generations of Nexen tires. I used to drive on Nokian Nordman 4 prior to that. Compared to it, this tire performs worse in terms of ice-holding and snow-removal. However, on roads salted with de-icing chemicals it performs very well. Very low noise level. After one winter and 16,000 km I didn't lose any studs, despite not taking great care of the tire... Wear on

After buying tires online, I decided to change them because of the icy weather (-3 degrees). I had Gislaved Nord Frost 5 tires, which had 20-30% of studs remaining after four seasons of aggressive driving. After putting on new Nexen WinSpike WH62 tires, I was immediately disappointed when compared to the old Gislaved.
Firstly, while turning onto a tire shop, I noticed that the new tires slightly skid (ESP flashes) when starting to move

So I bought this tire on the advice of a friend who said that this tire is the best in terms of price and quality.
After Bridgestone's lippuchka, this tire seemed to me just a stupid snowplow.
It just digs and doesn't ride.
Bridgestone really gripped and rode.
This one doesn't.
Of the advantages, I note that for studded tires, it is really quiet and very comfortable and soft.- Vehicle:

Noisy, but tolerable. Handling on ice is mediocre. Braking on asphalt is poor: at a speed of just over 40 km/h, you skid, both on dry and wet surfaces. The tire gets stuck in snow easily, and you need to drive carefully without spinning.
In general, the tire is worth its money

Bought in the middle of the last season. The area of use is St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. I carefully drove about a thousand kilometers. I don't drive aggressively in principle. By the end of the season, two studs came out on one of the tires, and a stud broke on the other. The tread clogs with snow too quickly (simply instantly) and starts to grind. The ABS beeps. It's not comfortable on a wet road.

Soft, moderately noisy even on clean asphalt. They hold direction well on packed snow, but the tread clogs very quickly on a snowy field, and the lateral lugs are weak. For highway and city driving - excellent!!! I recommend buying them. I will definitely buy them for myself!!!

The tires were great, I got them in size 225/45 R17, the price-quality combination is excellent, after 2 seasons the tread is still in place, and it performs great on snow and ice, maybe a bit noisy, but the noise level is quite comfortable. There were no issues with balancing.
