Tyre reviews Kormoran Road Performance. Page 7 1015

A quite decent tire, if you're not planning to race - it's not too noisy (except for some types of asphalt with uneven surfaces), handles normally, doesn't notice grooves, brakes confidently, and enters turns normally. But I don't consider myself a Schumacher, I haven't driven over 130 km/h on it. One nuance - the tire is still soft (the master at the tire shop was surprised by the softness of the sidewalls) and due to this softness, in the first two weeks I "caught" two screws in two different wheels (one in the rear, the second in the front), then it seemed to normalize, possibly the top layer of the compound hardened during operation, or maybe it just happened to coincide. As for wear - I won't say anything special, it's still only the middle of the season.
In general, a normal European tire at the price of a Chinese one. Although, when you remember that just two years ago you could buy an A-brand tire for the same money, it's still frustrating. But you can't turn back time.

I purchased Kormoran Road Performance 215/60 r16 as a replacement for Yokohama (model unknown). The tire left a positive impression, justifying its price by 200%, but after some time I acquired tires from other brands for 2 other cars and found an even more attractive option in terms of price/quality ratio.
In terms of driving characteristics, Kormoran performs well on both dry and wet asphalt, BUT at speeds of 180+ km/h it's somehow not right (in my opinion, the factory speed index does not correspond to reality). I can't say anything about durability, as I haven't driven much, but the tread pattern/depth/softness hasn't changed after 5000 km, and the tread is almost untouched. The tire is also quite resistant to cuts and punctures, and I haven't had to visit a tire shop once (on other tires, I constantly had issues on the same routes). In my final review, I can say that the tire is an excellent option for city driving, but for highway driving, I would look for another option.

Soft sidewalls have one disadvantage: when the pressure is below 2.3 (required by the car's manual), the car noticeably floats on the highway. In all other respects, this is a plus.
The tires are quite quiet, BUT when driving on a cut asphalt or a road made with a large amount of gravel, pebbles in the asphalt mixture, the noise from the tires turns into serious howling with some metallic overtones (I thought some problems had arisen, but when I drove onto standard coverage, the sound disappeared completely).
I spend a lot of time traveling on the highway... at a speed of 140-150 km/h, the movement is predictable and does not cause tension while driving (the main thing is the correct pressure in the tires).

Based on reviews prior to purchase. At the tire shop, the 2 tires on the second rotation were only rebalanced - I had to turn them over two more times. But maybe that's just due to the old wheels. Noise sensitivity is highly dependent on road surface quality. There are some nuances in handling, but I attribute that to the bigger size than the standard one. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Hello everyone, I decided to leave a review about my driving experience with many tires over the years. I've had both expensive and cheap ones, but the Continental 225 60 R16 is truly exceptional - its price and quality are simply top-notch. I'm an aggressive driver, both in terms of wear and tear and vehicle handling, and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I'm also very pleased with the quality of delivery and service provided by the company. Good luck to everyone.

I put on the West on my car. The original tire lasted for 1 year and 55,000 km. After replacing it, I immediately noticed a difference in noise reduction and handling - the car became more confident in turns at higher speeds. On the way back from Arkhyz, I got caught in the rain, but I was in complete ecstasy - I was making all turns at 120km/h without reducing speed. AvtoVAZ should install this tire on the production line!

Tires have excellent grip on the road. Took a 15 size, and the price was a pleasant surprise. Soft enough, but handle well.
